Well, given that you now know that the post gets updated instead of reposted, it shouldn't be difficult for you to check the post itself before you PM someone if there's a question in your mind about who you need to send a message to.

Can we get the Immortals that are supposed to be patrons to actually do that?

As in the goddess Meissa actually being the IMM for that religion?

There has been too much multi-tasking by all the IMMs, we arn't getting the needed attention we deserve. Why not?

I understand there are not enough IMMs, again why not?

Are there being any trained, enough to fill the Pantheon, so that every religion/cabal will be able to communicate with the appriate Immortal?

Just saying this because in the case of the Meissa forum the God of Destruction and the God of Vengeance have been the only ones posting. Please stop giving dark gods controll over Lighties and vice-versa.

Thank you much!

Yes. Thank you. Everyone that has read this post is now minus about fifty synapses in thier brain. Seriously, could you do everyone a favor and delete your own forum account?

Any aura that goes with said god is preety much left at the door when it comes to the forums and any OOC buisness that needs to be taken care of.(Except for Zyshain who is a evil [REDACTED] no matter what)

Basically you are bitching at people, who for the most part have jobs and lives outside of the mud, for putting thier time in to help [REDACTED] like you. This isn't special ed so stop acting [REDACTED] and give a little bit of due thanks instead of biting the hand that feeds.

And as for the mentioned Meissa, if I recall correctly he left the pantheon to spend more time with his kiddo which is commendable. Let's just hope the kid doesn't turn out anything like you.

XOXOXO
Sklz0re

P.S.: Ain is the exception and has no life except for to sn00p Quae baby-making sessions.

Meissa left the pantheon quite some time ago due to real life time constraints. As has been our practice for some years now, another imm picked up as patron of the religion so that there was someone to look after things.

As I explained to you in another thread...one that you've apparently chosen not to read...had we been playing by the old rules, when your patron imm left the pantheon, the religion would have been left to wither on the vine for the most part. Instead you have an active (on average 100 hours/month) imm who, while not being visible as "your" imm, is willing to work with you oocly as necessary.

The things that you want, however, are things that are just not going to happen. No religion gets symbol scripts anymore. Nor does any religion get "special" eq that is guaranteed to be set aside for that religion and that religion alone.

We do bring new imms into the pantheon as and when we can. However due to various reasons, we also have imms leaving the pantheon. This tends to leave us with a fairly constant number of imms over time.

In the case of the Meissa forum, I post there because I am the imm who functions as your patron at the moment. I have been since Meissa left. Zynor posts there because he is the imm who is in charge of all of the forums. Other imms may post there from time to time, as well.

In addition, no matter which imm character an imm-player may animate at any given point in time, all immortals are committed to the game as a whole. None of us are "good" or "evil" as a player; none of us are "dark gods" or "light gods" when we post here on the forums...these are out-of-character forums, not in-character, and as such, we are the administrators and imm-players, not the god-characters, on these forums.

Mortal Relations Squad heh?

Such a duty.

I mean we need dedicated IMMortals, not ones that provide a function. That see it as a job they do. We need the kind that see a vision for a religion/cabal and realize it.

Your too over-worked right now Algorab to give any one religion enough dedication. Pace yourself. It is nice to have an active IMM, just that we want one of our own.

Yes, we are greedy, we don't like sharing IMMs

(edit) p.s. sklyz I can insult too but try not to, anyway if I did I'd use better words than-ear-biter, reading this made me stupider, [REDACTED], brain-dead, and comments about mothers. I see you say that in every post I read by you, and don't forget your mother loves you dearly.

You need a dedicated immortal? Since when? I've had 2 characters in the past both of which ended up being thier religions last surviving member, and I can tell you that I NEVER had an active IMM devout to my religion. Not once.

Let me tell you what Yopparai once told me. Not having an immortal watching over you is more of a blessing than a curse. You have free reign over the religion. You are the driving force of the religion and without a true dedicated Meissa you have a hell of alot more control over the religion than you would if there was one.

Also, as many people have told me over the years. This game is what you make it and you cannot expect ANYONE, immortal or mortal, to lead you around by the ear and show you what to do. Stop being a snivling little n00blet and get out and do something. If you need a suggestion, in your case I would suggest buying a gun to shoot yourself.

Also, I'm sure that whatever EEEEMOTAL is over the Meissa slot currently would be more than happy to leave you to your own devices. If it is AlGore as I suspect last I checked there was something 9-10 Religon/Cabal/Tribunals under AlGore's watch.

I wonder why? The only people I post replies to anymore are yourself and Algon, two of the biggest [REDACTED] to hit this game since Dalton. Oh, and since you asked for the mothar jokes.

Get off my mother, because I just got off yours.

XOXOXO

Mageborn: We don't go grabbing any schmuck of the street to be IMM (well, except maybe in my case). There's a long and involved process that one must go through to become an entry-level IMM. And then there's MORE stuff to do before becoming an Active God. Not everyone makes it through either of these processes. And many more burn out immediately afterwards. Those that stay around for a year or more are actually a rarity.

Then, besides just overseeing your religion, IMMs are constantly play-testing the goodies Dulrik comes out with during updates. We build. Almost constantly. We fix typos. We chase bugs. We handle new ideas from the players. There's only one IMM that doesn't build. And that's because, out of the goodness of her heart, she offered to oversee the religions that were without an active patron so that they wouldn't stagnate. Complaining about that to us is like saying "You know, I think the sun needs to shine for 24 hours straight!" The fact that in the past year we've had two people come along to donate their time as *builders alone* is goddamned amazing, and a huge relief for the IMMstaff. God(s) bless you, Dally and Wert.

And yes, thank you, mortal relations *is* a demanding job. It means that we're constantly on top of prayers in game and the forums, answering questions and helping people out. See that TMS button at the top of your screen? That's *always* bringing newbies in. Newbies that some people just blatantly ignore. And they turn ad caelum for help.

So, thank you for your kind understanding that we *do indeed* take this as seriously as a second job. Thank you for validating the insane number of hours the IMMstaff logs each month with your praise.

Thank you Sklz.

Algorab, 9-10 orginizations? Even you have to admit thats a bit ludicrous. And you really don't have any favorites? I know Algorab has been around forever and is trust-worthy and everything...but I'd like to see IMMortals like they were way back when, as charectors. That interacted with random people at times.

Whatever, guess I'll just apologize, been a bad day excuse #1 excuse #2 and the like....

Just my opinion, sad that I get flamed for it.

Sklz if youd ever have met my mother you'd know not to brag abut sleeping with her.
