ideas

-buff the debuffs
-dominate people worth dominating :devil:
-spells as powerful as holy word
-religion prayer
-lower concentration costs

idk what i'm talking about but i'd like to play a hellion and have it be fun

Hellions need something to lock an enemy in combat, like nimbus of light.
In this day and age, where the bash nerf is in full effect, survivability is way up.
Team lighty has an extra way to lock someone into combat. I think hellions should get something to balance it out.

I don't think hellions need any additional buffs and are very balanced against paladins. Hellions get curse, which prevents someone from recalling and it can be added, along with weakness, to their weapon. This saves casting time and allows the hellion to more quickly start casing hellfire. Hellions get perma-sanc which they never have to cast and makes other players look stupid.

Plus rift.

The only meh thing about hellions are the variety and overall suckiness of dominates. If you need any more information about hellions you should consult Ardith.

Yup. Paladin has a major advantage over hellion. Paladins have a lot of defense and they only need to cast BoG repeatedly to win against any hellion.

Pretty sure accuracy and strength are involved in the calculation. More likely with a greatsword than a halberd, at the cost of reach.

I also wouldn't be opposed to hellions getting feeblemind, which would likely debuff most paladins enough to stop BoG at the expense of a high cast time and low probability to land.
