Short response of things that were implemented into the game that you thought made the game more fun and cooler.

I thought its pretty cool that there are end game zones for Lighties, Twilight, and Darkies. Its always been the case that everyone joined together to conquer evil zones like Nightmare Temple, Iron Citadel, wastelands. With the addition of West Winds, it opens the door of evil do-ers conquering lighty dungeons.

Evil - Iron Citadel, Nightmare Temple
Twilight - Dreamscape, Grey/Frozen Wastes?
Light - West Winds (I hope this gets built out into an evil conquering lighty dungeon)

Deputies in factions/cabals, that was a real solid addition.

Despite my recent gripes on LT’s and the redeem order, I really like how LT’s have opened up the game. It’s given me the ability to be comfortable exploring solo, since I have the fallback to re-obtain my loot.

The GRP about the gods fighting in the sky that caused the game to crash (reboot for code implementation) was my first GRP-like event. It was awesome and I think the enchanting change was monumental to the game. I don’t remember a time before it. But I’ve heard horror stories.

I think Thuban making positive area changes and implementing new areas has been a pretty cool thing and keeps some exploration of the game fresh.

There are many more things. But I’ll let others list them. Lol

I started playing again a year ago, and prior to that, I hadn't touched the game since about 2006.

1) Happy Hour (both the XP boost and the fast traveling)
2) Portal stones with rotating portals to each kingdom
3) Religion-specific prayers (I think this was put in right before I left, but I didn't mess with them much)
4) Amateur Academy is amazing. Much better than the other starting areas, though I do miss the other starting areas.
5) Stat mod trinket vendors, especially those in Exile.

All around good stuff, makes the came much more accessible.

Though I haven’t had a character that can access it myself, I think the Store Room has greatly incentivized trips to some End Game PVE.
Idk if it’s been realized that this is the sole reason we’re running end game runs, but it has affected the game positively.
