A paladin says 'You're too poor to pay full restitution, so you'll get some extra cell time.'
A paladin says 'Your prison sentence is 9 days and 17 hours.'
A paladin says 'Execution will follow once you've done your time.'
A paladin escorts you off to your new prison cell.

Jail Cell
You have found yourself in a dank, dark jail cell. What little light
there is barely illuminates the bare stone floor. No furniture is provided
at all; not a bed to lay down on nor a chair to sit in. The bars that are
embedded in the door shimmer slightly as though imbued with magical energy -
hardly surprising considering some of the inmates that are kept here.
A bit of writing appears on the wall here.
Obvious exits: n(closed)
a blue pen lies here
A piece of lined paper lies here.

The judge appears at your cell door.
Judge Laurelyn says 'For the attempted murder of a paladin: imprisonment and minor confiscation of personal property.'
Judge Laurelyn confiscates a pair of sleek trousers.
Judge Laurelyn frowns.
Judge Laurelyn says 'Your prison sentence is 11 days and 0 hours.'
Judge Laurelyn says 'Execution will follow once you've done your time.'
The judge walks away.

The jailor delivers some bread and water to you.
You scratch another mark on the wall. Still 0 days to go.

You are a criminal in this land.
You still have 24 hours of jail time remaining.
You are banished from this land.

...What happened here exactly?

Unknown. Did you try logging out and logging back in? You don't mention who you play, so I can't investigate.

Sorry. I play Mephistir. And I didn't try logging out and back in. After the hours were over, it went ahead with procedure. The countdown just got bugged somehow.

The judge came in the cell and took your pants?

Poor Mephistir...

The judge found a contraband wand betwixt your cheeks?

The judge appears at your cell door.
Judge Laurelyn says 'For the attempted smuggling of contraband items, minor confiscation of personal property.'
Judge Laurelyn confiscates a pair of sleek trousers.
Judge Laurelyn frowns.
Judge Laurelyn wears a pair of white rubber gloves.
Judge Laurelyn sighs.
Judge Laurelyn says 'I need a raise.'
Judge Laurelyn makes some incomprehensible gestures.
Judge Laurelyn frowns.
Judge Laurelyn says 'Got it.'
Judge Laurelyn says 'Your prison sentence is 11 days and 0 hours.'
Judge Laurelyn says 'Execution will follow once you've done your time, and lets keep this incident between you and I.
Judge Laurelyn peers at you intently.
The judge walks away.
