The very essence of a human is the be the average joe of every class, so by definition, they can't suck at anything, but they can't truly excel...well, shouldn't, at anything, either.

No, humans can definitely excel at a lot of classes. They just can't have hot lesbo elf mudsex so not everyone plays humans.

What I mean by excel is be the best choice for the class in it's strengths. Barbarians are giants. Bards are elves. Sorcerors are delves, although not everyone agrees (high weaknesses and such). From my understanding of the human class and what it's meant to be, if you're twinking the class, human shouldn't be your choice. I'd like to encourage you to read carefully. "Shouldn't." I know they are for some. Seems like they'd make a good paladin and hellion, seeing as how both of those classes need virtually everything.

If I was twinking a barbarian he would be human.

And I could twink a giant barbarian that could utterly destroy you every time.

25 str, con, and dex with max hp, size giant. Don't know if MC has access to lighten load anymore, but they did at one point.

An MC dwarf can also reach 25 str, con, and dex, but loses out on giant damage bonus.

Again, this is just on paper, in theory. And, we may have had different definitions of the word twinking, but yeah, with a very specific set up, theoretically, a giant barb should be able to easily handle a human barb.

OA tried to explain why human bards suck to me, but he reduced them to songs of sleep. I use bards for a lot more than songs of sleep, so I still don't see why human bards suck.

Also songs of sleep should have a huge drawback for being so OP. [REDACTED] songs of sleep. [REDACTED] it in the eye.

Giants are terrible.
