No, he isn't. Especially since if he's got MR enchants, he's lacking fort enchants. F minor (which an eth bard can use, since the sorc is eth) is going to completely shut him down and raep his face with damage. F minor is not unreliable against weak fort enchants given even the slightest art on the bard's part.

The sorc can't bash and if he uses a certain cabal speed to increase his attacks he can't cast either. Anyone with heal vials would crap all over the sorc.

I'm just wondering exactly how your rogue is going to sneak up on a guy without him noticing, buff up and go ethereal without him noticing, and then still not kill him because he has wimpy 50 set.

Then again, Maelgrim went into fights all the time without buffing up, so I suppose that's something.

I'm not saying that Fist human MR sorc is invincible. I'm just saying that if you act like anything short of an ether wire + swashie or true seeing potion is going to ever kill him, you're nuts.

Yeah, I wonder how a rogue will manage to eat an FZ, GS and HS pill and then go ethereal and get a backstab on an ethereal sorcerer that doesn't know he is coming. Sounds really complicated and completely impossible.

And Maelgrim was always buffed, which is why his opponents played paranoid in the second rank 24/7 with a pet/guard behind them. If this guy really sits ethereal all day and expects mirror image alone to stop a rogue, he is going to get rick rolled. If he runs around ethereal with both mirror image and stoneskin - AND he is an MR race - that is another story.

I remember reading a different story on the log site.

4 rounds of combat into the fight where Tolene died, after at least 2 circles, one of which misses:
Quote:
A callipygian male human eats a white pill marked with a 'FZ'.
A callipygian male human gets a wild look in his eyes!

4 rounds into Maelgrim/Tari/Callie vs Alaric/Piddah, after a handful of circles.

Your muscles surge with heightened power!

A resolute female human\'s divine wrath slightly singes a bestial male human\'s head.

A resolute female human\'s divine wrath barely hits a bestial male human\'s chest.
A bestial male human punches at a resolute female human\'s right hand, ripping a small wound.
A bestial male human punches at a resolute female human\'s stomach, bashing a deep gash.
A bestial male human punches at a resolute female human\'s left wrist, causing a big gash.
Baltus starts to concentrate.
Callie\'s piercing wail echoes weakly off a bestial male human\'s chest.
Callie slices at a bestial male human\'s right wrist, causing a big gash.

You are filled with holy wrath!

Most of the rest of your fights are you hitting horses or insta-backstabbing/circling classes with racial weaknesses.

Besides, GS and frenzy now give less bonuses than they used to, and when daggers are enchanted now, they aren't going to come with the same to-hit bonus they had before without sacrificing damage. But sure, if you can manage to find Wudan while GSed, Frenzied, hasted and ethereal before your stat maxes get dropped by 2 points each without him seeing you first (or noticing you on the who list) and deciding to just magic missile himself every 2 minutes, you go right on ahead.

Your tears are delicious, Edoras. When buffs drop mid-combat, I rebuff - it happens. My kill-to-death ratio on a rogue (1 death) was better than yours on a necromancer - LOL.

Let me know when you stop zapping yourself with wands in PK, bro.

I don't think Edoras is crying. I think he's calling you a self-aggrandizing limp-wrist.

Oh noes!! Edoras has his brother white knighting for him. You two are hilarious. And, yeah, this thread is a massive QQ fest.

Should just let them cry and theorycraft the worst possible case scenarios as naturally such scenarios always occur!

It's not the worst possible scenario until a newb fleeing the hordes of tracking tigers in the Zhensh wilderness runs through and drags dozens of tiger NPCs in to maul the faces of Edoras' and Nightwing's characters.
