I have mentioned more than once that my opinion is biased. I'm human. What do you want from me?

I am, right now, defending my healing 26% between rounds as balanced, if I may be so bold. I am doing so because I don't feel like Hoch is overpowered. As I've said before, I am admitting that I am biased. It would certainly be different if I was playing against Hoch.

It would certainly be different if you were playing against Hoch? So it isn't overpowered as long as you are the one using it?

On the scale of all things, it's pretty low on the "OP" list.

However, I think a large part of his feeling of adequacy is because he's getting deuced on being aggressive stance all the time. I think it's rather telling and counter-balancing that he can show tanking success while mood aggro. From what I understand, few that take hits ever end up going mood aggro if they want to survive.

I think a fair answer would be to let herbs (not flasks) through MR. Maybe that's just me, though. Lag would be the 'quickest' answer but I always see something like that as a shortcut around the root of the problem.

I would like to point out the obvious fact that someone who rolls an MR barb should not expect to tank anywhere close to as well as someone who rolled a non-MR barb melee. Losing access to sanctuary, armor, SA/Protection and haste is an absolutely huge loss in terms of defensive capability. If eating mistletoe -was- strong enough to keep you up to par with fully-buffed tanking PCs, then it would be absurdly imbalancing.

Agreed.

In one thread, we have:

So let me sum up your stance: I should be testing things instead of whining. I agree. That is why I have been testing things.

On the other hand, -you- are whining, and posting no evidence to support what you say. You say that I am incorrect in saying that you can one-shot all of a necros controls before he can kill your pet. You are wrong. It is not difficult to do. It is, in fact, almost guaranteed. You wouldn't know this because you spent all of our fights trying to spam BoG me instead of one-shotting my controls and winning.

The infamous "no, YOU are" defense.

We're done here.

Here, we have ^ that thing...

See, we're all friends here!

Wrong thread for that quote.

I have no problem agreeing with anyone when they're right. It's just an unfortunate rarity in Edoras' case. This time, he is right. No one should be going into a class immune to both healing and buffs, and expect to equal the survivability of other classes. I was admittedly baiting Opey into unveiling the circumstances of his failed survivability, and he's trying to tank mood aggressive.

>.> I was pointing out that in one thread, a.k.a. a different thread, you two are in extreme disagreement to the point of just ignoring each other. In this thread, you wholeheartedly agree. I found it a tad bit amusing and kind of wanted to point out to Edoras that even though we disagree with him on his necro stance, that doesn't mean he is our enemy. He's just wrong in some cases, right in others.

This ^^^

MR barbs are essentially trading complete spell immunity, even while naked in exchange for being able to be as "good" as normal melee characters.

An MR barb should honestly never have a chance against a normal melee PC, and Aura of Negation was a terrible idea because it gives the MR barb a huge advantage in 1vs1 with other melee and nevermind the fact that they're immune to spells.

Wait... a front-line type character is not supposed to have any chance against anyother class in 1v1? So, they should suck as bad as swashies then????

Do you actually bother to read before responding, or no?

An MR barb is basically a mage killer. And in exchange for having to put in none of the work a normal melee pc does, the downside is they should not be able to compete with non-MR melee.
