One of the biggest differences is that the victim of a FoD can typically flee / auto-follow / retreat / walk out in relative safety. Those moves from a necromancer typically spell biiiig trouble.

But the other problem is that you're still relying on your opponent to be under-skilled, and then we're no longer comparing a level playing field.

Well..My opinion is this. If the necro DPS has dropped that much and their animates gotten weaker, maybe we should take a look at walk in holy words then that way the necro has a chance to at least fight back? If 2 holy words drops em, that's easily done with 1 trib player or two people simply casting before and walking in. While that was always a viable tactic before, a Necro can't shut down 2 holy worders before one gets off, especially if they walk in cast it which makes it near instant.

is this where i point out where before, you could enchant kits into ridiculousness, and now the amount of total damage soak / saves you can pile on is much lower so actually casting to kill is more effective?

Is there the part where I mention that the only damage spells necros have are finger of death and cause critical? Finger of death isn't even impairment, and is not a one-shot win spell like petrification which is vastly superior. Necros cannot "cast to kill," they can just cast to control.... like a shaman, except a shaman doesn't instantly die on the second row or even front row, doesn't die to arrows or die to BoG, and a shaman has call lightning, and can cast heal.

If you want to cast to kill, roll a warlock or a sorcerer. A necro will just get BoGed to death in the time it takes him to cast one finger of death.

I honestly can't believe you're still whining, Edoras.

We get it, you think necromancers are terrible.

It's a wonder you even started playing the class.

Christ on a stick, Eddy. I've seen less whining from hurricane victims.

I believe Edoras should be arrested for animal abuse and corpse violation for the amount of abuse he keeps putting these dead zombie horses through.

The appropriate response is to wait, try using new tactics for a month or so, and e-mail/PM respectful thoughts to Dulrik with insightful logs to back it up. Not cry for pages upon pages on the forums. You're making yourself look WORSE, Edoras, not more intelligent or correct.

Funny, I've seen better senses of balance during earthquakes.

I'm sure that you enjoy the fact that the class which is centralized around physical damage (necro) can't kill your character anymore, whose only weakness is overwhelming physical damage.

I've never been through an earthquake, so I can't really argue with that. The one time I remember battling your undead, you had the advantage (as we engaged Rajjin Waax's group) and you chose to flee instead of do something useful. You also sat there and waited for the paladin to cast a spell on you (something you said no veteran should ever do).

I guess if you make mistakes and then lose, your class is weak. You're awfully good at blaming everything else for the problem.
