Judging by the speed of these counterarguments that have come in the span of only minutes I ask that you sit back and think before you make statements so I dont waste my time riposting them all. My idea helps game balance and I think it is game balance that suffers when many of these more powerful spells are available to all. Would the game be better if no vials were allowed, YES. Do I think that idealistic and not likely, YES! So what are the alternatives, well the penalites as I mentioned. Maybe there are other ways also.

What I meant was, I dont think YOU understand game balance when you say that I dont understand it. Read my prior post, everything you say negates itself. You claim Im emotionally compromised? I wont even begin on you in that direction because this thread isnt for flames. Edoras, your smart enough to know what Im saying, and that is not meant in a condescending way. I think that all classes should be left to their own skillsets and this game would be better. I have been playing just as long as ANYONE here and my opinion isnt some randomly newbish and irrelevant thing. Spidermonkey put it perfectly on one of the first posts, many classes getting spells other classes have to balance them means things are being thrown out of balance.

I think people who regularly PvP, have been successful on multiple characters and actually are familiar with the scripted items in the game probably have a pretty good idea of game balance.

I've killed plenty of people who were buffed to the nines. That's my evidence.

There's just a point where you have to say Whatever, and then just wreck their [REDACTED] regardless of them having 20 different buffs, scripted items out the [REDACTED], and summoning raptor jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Those are best kills, imo.

I'm just personally not enthused to play until the enchant/fly package goes into the game, but then again it's probably going to be in the middle of the semester so I won't have time to play still. *grumble*
