Why don't we get the 'detect hidden' or 'cure poison' spells?

I can live without detect hidden quite easily, just seems silly our counterparts get invis and hide and we can't detect hidden.

Also I am POISONED by undead on a regular basis and very rarely ever get plagued, if we are built to fight undead why don't we have this simple spell to counteract the most used ailment from them?

I imagine it's cuz hellions get both of those abilities and paladins are already super hellion bane.

Having a counter to every skill another class has != balance.

I still want cure poison, I can live without detect hidden, it's the cure poison thing that needs fixed. It's not just hellions in this case, it's hellion/necro/undead poison is more prevelant than disease I don't understand why these holy heros don't get access to it.

I definitely thought it silly that paladins are supposed to be one of the worst enemies of the undead, and yet are constantly getting poisoned by them. Something about that setup should definitely change.

Paladins are fine.

They're well set up for damage per round, tanking, lock evil characters in rooms, are decent healers with cure critical and have a good debuff/damage spell in holy word. Also they get locate object, and identify. I don't really think they need anything more.

I don't think it would change pvp at all to give them cure poison. It woul just help in cutting down on annoying pve situations. And thematically it makes sense. Think it's a good idea.
