FYI - please don't send me private messages requesting help with Mush Client, zMUD, etc. If you need help with triggers, aliases, etc. post your question in the Clients section. I don't always log on my account (so it may be days or weeks before I see the PM), but I always check the Client sections when I visit the forum.

I guess what I posted could be illegal, if you had another trigger to cast charm person and you weren't at the keyboard, I'd love to see an IMM catch that one though, for all they know you could have just stacked commands. I guess the aliased version is the "tiptoe around the tulips" legal version.

It is completely illegal. There is no maybe or could be about it. The client sends an action/command back to the MUD without player input. The current admins may not catch you, but that doesn't mean it is legal to use it.

A lot of people would love to know how I catch them.

A lot of people get deleted.

Sargas never catches anybody.

What do you send them random echoes to trigger things like "has summoned you!" Like Brad/Algorab used to do?

That punishment thread has been a bit sparse...

In two months I've deleted three people and handed out a level curse -- there was also a few curses handed out for a number of reasons that don't get posted. Plenty of people have been getting their [REDACTED] pushed in for Being Bad™.

I do love me some punishment thread posts. I think that's the thread I get most excited about reading whenever it shows up in my unread posts.

It's also nice to see that people who are gaming the system are losing out for it. I know I've reported my fair share of grievances and didn't see any result from it, which always made me wonder whether anything was done about it or not: And as such whether what they did was acceptable.

Then again maybe that's just because the e-mail system wasn't working at the time.

It's the latter. Feel free to send me e-mails of Potential Transgressions™, and I'll go from there.

Please don't send me an e-mail if you got PKed for a legitimate reason.
