If an immortal comes down in immortal form, ICly, is it cool to attack them? (Yes, I know you'll probably insta-die). I've heard about people doing this before, but it also says you need to pay respect to all the Gods in the "help conduct" helpfile:
Quote:
Kneeling is good, and prostrating yourself before the immortal is also acceptable. Note that this is not just before the immortal that you follow or wish to follow, but also before ANY immortal, whether you respect their sphere of influence or not. It is also common practice to ask permission before looking directly at any immortal.
So, for instance, servant of Truth (paladin) is here. Thuban comes down. Can the paladin shout out a challenge then charge the god? Is this a curse-able action, or ICly legitimate and allowable, being that Thuban is the anti-thesis of everything the paladin holds dear and has sworn to defend?
Again, the helpfile seems fairly straightforward on this, but I ask because people have attacked IMM's before. It seems strange for a paladin of truth to prostrate before Thuban, so I guess I'm asking for opinions on what the proper etiquette in this kind of situaton would be from an IC standpoint.
