I really like the idea of having mild bash lag when doing so to a already prone target. There should be no change to how long the person stays prone though from the bash.

Should be the same as landing the bash itself.

This entire idea is idiotic, most of you posting about it have logs on sklogs spam bashing.

I think the basher shouldn't have a lag. But I also think the lag that the one being bashed gets when entering commands should be removed.

I agree with Peso, this idea is incredibly idiotic and most of the people arguing for it clearly have no idea what they're talking about.

Adding in lag to the basher will not only encourage triggers (which are illegal but can still be done "legally" through a client-side trigger) but actually -require- them if you plan on PKing veterans, because I can't think of a single person playing SK that would spend over 20 hours enchanting a suit but not spend around 20 minutes to make a trigger that would allow them to ignore the only skill in the game that actually allows for kills to land on even prepared opponents.

I'd like to point out that my merc ALREADY has bash lag. If I successfully land a bash, there is a two round lag b4 I'm able to do anything else. Any more of a lag and the person will have time to get up and bash me or run away. I get one round of action before the opposing party gets up which is cutting it clow for me. The ones crying about bash need to play a melee character instead of casters. Then you'll see what we are talking about. What else can a merc really do when he's fighting a PC who can inately fly and who does so all the time? We cant trip you. The best chance we have to land a bash or to dirt kick you and being a sprite with that much de its harder to hit so yeah we go for bash. Not like you dont have a whole arsenel of magic you can throw as us to stop us if your smart enough to play your class and sit in the middle or back row.

I was going to disagree with you Edoras. But the more I think about it, the current system works fine. Giving the bashee no lag is a very bad idea though. While bashing is not hard, both sides of pvp are capable. Taking away the lag would only leave giving less accuracy towards the person you just made roll around on their face; very lame.

Would you?

If so, then quit playing, cheater. If not, then why presume on the rest of us?

I don't, never have, and never will, spend 20 hours enchanting my suit. I like doing things outside of SK.

It is not hard if you have the enchant spell to enchant a good suit. I usually do it while watching a flick or surfing the web and am mostly semi-afk when I do it. I generally only enchant my suit when I lost it anyhow, so I am not worried about being afk and getting ganked either. :sleepy:
