You enjoy and play sk for the RP, yet you'd let someone suffer in a cell for hours or days (of RL time) at a time and be fine with it OOCly, where they cant rp or do anything at all on the game. So you enjoy your fun, but when it comes to others having fun you don't care.

Also, I don't see where you're getting at when you constantly talk about me draining your account and stuff. I've never once drained exile's account yet but if you'd like I can surely do it easily enough. The only times I ever come to exile are to RP (when i'm not wanted) or to pk when enemies are there. If noone comes and i'm stuck running through your city killing guards because noone decides to show up even when they know i'm there, thats on them not me.

You obviously didn't know what you were getting into when you joined the peacekeepers. It's the land of light and also the home to the hammers as well, who quite often hide there. You should expect pk to happen there often.

Sure that would be a good point from an IC perspective, but honestly no players enjoy spending RL hours being logged onto sk stuck in room where you can't do anything at all. We all play sk for enjoyment, and thats definitely not a fun part of sk at all.

I have to sympathize with OldeSword here. No newbie is going to haplessly murder enough guards to give themselves RL-days worth of jail time. It is a lot more likely that a newbie would haplessly roll a peacekeeper without knowing that they will endure constant raids from more experienced players.

If you have the means to raid a city and stack up your jail time, you almost certainly have the means to stage a jail break.

Also, just in case, I am not saying that I don't trust you Zellidon or that you have abused the item in any way but I maintain that the item in question needs to be removed.

I think that you need to be removed. Zellidon won that item fair and square. Perhaps the imm that made it could fix it instead of you guys QQing that it needs removed.

You obviously missed the whole start of the arguement then. Sure, I could stage a jail break. But not when there is 5+ enemy pc's protecting the place from being broken into.

No you weren't, but whateva. That's why you were right there when I got broke out and you knew how zellidon broke me and made this whiny thread.

Seriously, if I ever get more jail time than 4 RL hours, I will quit the game again instantly. This is extremely stupid and dissappointing, not punishing the character, but the player instead.

There should be no jail time longer than 4 RL hours. Do executions, remove limbs, confiscate anything the hell you want, but punishing the player by not actually allowing him to play and forcing him to stay idle and logged (yet not botting) for more than 4 freaking hours is plain sadistic.

The item in question isn't unique though. Baudon won one for the blood-games as well, and frequently lent it to my character at the time, I wasn't aware that this was considered problematic. Of course we didn't know it could open jail-cells and cabal hqs but whatever.
