There is a story behind her last name

If you'd take the time to read through her background (I don't blame you if you didn't), it wouldn't make sense for her to have a last name. As a matter of fact, she didn't. Masami was known as Masami the Tatsumaki, and so Tristala took D'Tatsumaki as her last name, adding the "D" to give her last name more of a deep-elven sounding name, though considering her skin and hair, her elven parent was probably not deep.

I just made a bad Street Fighter joke. You're not supposed to actually try to explain your last name to me.

Admirable character, I had several interactions with her over several bards and was pleased, sorry I couldn't have had better participation on my part.
