Should sorcerers be limited to one charmie at a time?
Yes - this would make sorcs less OP and alleviate the NPC wars mentality of the game 67%  67%  [ 20 ]
No - sorcs need to have access to multiple charmies at a time in order to be viable 20%  20%  [ 6 ]

Because no one competent will die to backstab considering that every class in the game can keep their pulse racing with little to no drawback.

So I couldn't go find a log that shows you with your pulse slow?

If you set your wimpy to 60 and then follow a random NPC, you can't die to dual backstab. This is because you will be immune to the follow-backstab tactic. When the rogue tries to follow you, he will instead follow your leader, and you will be able to flee after the first backstab without getting followed and killed with the second backstab. While nobody has ever used this against me, I always used it if I was hanging out in an inn. My rogue was backstabbed four times and never killed with it. Besides, if someone is actually expecting a rogue, they can put something behind them or keep their pulse racing.

MI is a very good defensive spell that will keep most rogues from killing you. MI is available to every class that is really vulnerable to backstab -- not just sorcs. However, you can negate MI with potions of the Dulrik religion spell. They're not easy to come by, but I think I landed 4 backstab kills on sorcs using them, with a few to spare when I deleted.

Oh I didn't realize true sight potions saw through mirror image. Still a good rogue can kill a caster without landing the second backstab so wimpy wont help. Other than that, sorcs are definitely a tier 1 class. Take away the mirror image spell from them and make them have to get staffs for it like all the other casters. I mean you could take away mirror image and they would still be top of the line. That's how you know they are a jacked class.

I think the recent nerfs to sorcs were big enough. I'd like to see them in action before advocating such a massive nerf as removing their best defensive spell. Before the recent changes, I'd have agreed that even without MI, sorcs would be a very strong class. I'm not convinced of that at the moment. They're offensive abilities were seriously nerfed. Without MI they would also be very easy to kill or neutralize in a fight. The only change I might still advocate would be to make it easier to resist charm person.
