I am always open to suggestions on how to make a grind more interesting.

I think Mira's new area will be a huge help in this arena. Exp-Master is incredibly slow with few areas that are effective, especially factoring in familiarity.

I love that we are getting new areas, and that players are able to contribute to that. Now that being said, Expert-master for every aura is the easiest lvling now a days with two new recent areas added into SK.

However waiting for this [REDACTED] to come.

Yeah, I don't see how anyone can think Exp-Master is slow.

I'm tempted to even say "Veteran to Mentor" because one of the last areas added to the game is, indeed, awesome for a good chunk of time. But getting to the point where you should use it is the longest most boring grind ever. You even nodded to it in the PM you sent me, Sakhul.

Monotony is not interesting. Waiting around for undead to repop is not interesting. Having free-roaming NPCs that can completely eliminate a solo character in the range of the area in which you're trying to train isn't actually interesting - it's a PITA that wastes your time for no good reason.

I would literally say high j-man-vet are the hardest to lvl in SK, however, I am not saying they are hard to level, they just seem to take a lot longer than most other places.

Quest chains linking areas with bonuses at the end in the form of gold/items/bonus XP. Fighting 'boss' type monsters with enhanced rewards is a big bonus. Having the ability to drop an item or possess an item and the player gets a reward. The Valley of Ashes is a really good example of that. Set that up for areas along their respective tiers according to the area system and/or create a quest catalog system where people can see all the quests available in an area so they go try to find the individuals that start those quests.

My question is how many people know the 100+ quests that are out there and have it memorized how to complete them? The quests in this game are what really eliminate the grind for me. What does everyone's 'quest completed' list look like? How can you increase that to improve the grind?

Here's what a quest completed list for an average one of my characters looks like by the time they reach master. I have all of these quests memorized, but there are a ton more available that I may or may not have a clue about. How can we get that available for people to complete?

Quests you have completed:

A Blanket for Ilanah Nerina
A Grim Proposal The Valley of Ashes
Aid the Clouds Taslamar
Akara's Special Customer Nerina
Aztalyn and the Rogue The City of Exile

Governor Hire Garazul
Groundball Craeftilin
Hostia Skin Tribal Grounds
Iarbonel's Notes Crossroads Haven
Jadelyn's rogue Garazul
Journey to the Valley Of Ashes The Valley of Ashes
Keelhauled Mariner Garazul
(C)ontinue - (R)efresh - (B)ack - (H)elp - (Q)uit [RETURN]:

I dont really do quests and I can get to master within 50 hours, that is with RP included and some idle time, and that is most characters. Of course a priest would take longer, the early levels of a priest are friggin rediculous (unless you are a dwarf or griffon, but then you are a crappy priest)
