They wouldn't be so bad if suppression wouldn't wipe spells after, already sucks enough I can't pop vials and pots.

The deal breaker is when I couldn't use some scripted items I stumbled upon.

Vakros was an awesome RPer, awesome PKer. I was always impressed with the MR he had, thought he was the total package until I realized it did wipe the spells he got during suppression. Hope to RP with you again soon bro.

Another barbarian experiment goes down! I liked Vakros a lot, also, this has my vote for getting rid of the suppression removing buffs at the end mechanic.

They'd be too buff otherwise IMO. MR barbarians should not be more popular than non-MR barbarians.

With the current way that pk is set up for melee, to be at your best you should have vials, herb, and scripted buffs from gear.

MR is useless against most other melee classes obviously. They will absolutely chew you up if you don't have other spells on you. ie Stoneskin, Armor, Frenzy, Giant STR, Ironguard, etc. Not to mention you can't even get heals from a friendly priest half the time.

All non MR barbs have to do is get all their gear enchanted (which you can just take off) and max out wis. So what is the point of having MR then?

And it's not like a Sorc can't el oh el all over a barbarian anyways with melee charms and hiding ethereal. The same can be said with a Necro, a warlock, or even a priest.

What makes it even worse is being a griffon, since you are already gimped with half the armor and a limited selection of weapons.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not QQing. I fully understood what playing a griffon ment, just not the MR thing since that was new to me.

Estobar had zero MR for exactly the reasons you stated above. I was just thinking about trying an mr barb to be honest, but It looks like I was right to begin with.

As for the character I met him a couple times, not enough though. I respect the player alot. I'm glad you had fun. It seems like you are coming back too that's nice to see.
