I really dont care anymore. I had fun with the Fist Rp on Krewt. That was most definately the most fun I had getting the library built. It made me feel like everyone has a say in the game. But then I made elaiu and I basically got shat on from the player base. Site ban me or whatever. Its a complete joke that the ones that ruin the game are still around, and all the good players leave because of them. Dulrik, i think you need to spend more time watching over the ones that ruin this game or the game will no longer be fun for anyone who actually plays to RP and they will all quit.

I second that, also sorry to see ya go. Met you a few times and you were a very helpful player. Make a new character soon! And learn to find the people that can keep IC from purging OOC..

Yeah some people around here conduct themselves with absolutely no maturity. It's disgusting.

If you really don't care, then sadly there isn't much we can do. We get reports of ooc info sharing via yim all the time. There is nothing we can do without proof. You should work with us instead of against us.

Holo, I know it's frustrating as I've at times let my emotions out of the box a few too many times. Spam dying isn't fun, trust me I know. Just take a breather, step back and find your evidence of your claim if you can. (Not saying that he is or isn't as I don't want a dog in that race.)

Also, after you calm down, try another character. Alis liked interacting with Elaiu and Syrina tended to avoided him (he didn't know what to expect of him and after dealing with Antiira ICly, Syr was a bit afraid of Delves). I hate seeing RP'ers go. I honestly hope you'll make a return sometime after you've calmed down. Until then, best of luck in whatever you do.

I never should have inducted Elaiu from an IC perspective, as in our very first "trial" run where I took him into Sith'a'niel he teleported out for absolutely no reason and we lost our battle because his charm fled out (I didn't notice this at the time because I was dirt kicked.) On top of that, some times when I tried to give Elaiu advice ICly (Which he so sorely needed), even if that advice was requested by Elaiu specifically, it was like I was talking to a brick wall. One time, he asked me where to find a certain magical item, so I told him what I knew. Then he asked me the same exact question some time later, and I told him the same thing. Finally about 2 or more weeks later he started talking about how he finally found where to get the magical item he was looking for. In general, I never trusted Elaiu in PvP or PvE, because I could tell he was inexperienced and lacked the humility to learn, whether that had OOC or IC motivations. Having to switch from Ealuriel to Elaiu was extremely painful, if not downright torturous.


From an OOC perspective, you really played Elaiu poorly from a mechanics standpoint. It's one thing to have a character concept and RP, but it's another thing to not know your butt from your face when it comes to playing a sorc. Running around without mirror images and/or in the front row was something that Elaiu was more likely to do than have up proper defenses as a sorcerer. Now, such deadly mistakes are understandable maybe once, -perhaps- twice as a new sorc player, but you did them all. the. time, and you never correctly handled anyone's advice ICly from the MC or OOCly from the infamous log site. Instead, when given constructive criticism, you would lash out in anger at those who are willing to spend their time giving you advice. As a result you died a lot, which as a sorc is pretty telling. Without the humility to admit and learn from your own mistakes, you won't get very far in SK.

Actually if you want to complain about our first time in Sith YOU told me to Teleport out. You not me made the decision. As for Ic help I listened but being a deep-elf of Thuban my character thought he was better than anyone else so of course it was like talking to a brick wall. But if you stuck around you would have noticed that I started learning how to play a sorc a bit. So what if I'm a newb to sorcs, thats why I wanted to play one so I could learn it. The fact that you deleted and abandoned the MC doesnt say much for you dude. And the rest that followed you. Kirken for one, who talked shat on Elaiu the character, and me as a player on [REDACTED] saying he wasnt going to log in anymore cuz of me! I mean how childish. Now, you can think what you want, you all can. And i didnt delete cuz I got PKed again. I deleted cuz I'm tired of the crap. I came to the tourney to ive my help as a previous hero and the RP started with me showing up. Now everyone else was allowed to emote throwing things at my character and talk smack, but when I tried to RP it, Tagg kicked me out cuz I was playing my character? He expeted me to sit there and take it and my character wouldnt do that so i would have gone against my RP which I am not inclined to do ever. Regardless.

I don't wish to offend anyone with this, but analogies always get through to me, so maybe it will work for him.

H0l0, you make me think of a Jew during the Holocaust. He has evidence of what's being done wrong, Nico being Hitler of course. The British and Americans are represented by the Immortals. So, you can escape and tell on Hitler by giving the British proof of his OOC cheating, or, you can do what you're doing. Exactly what Hitler wants you to do...kill yourself. Makes his day that much easier.

Here's the problem and I'm going to respond to this despite the thread being godwin'd one above:

You seem like a good enough guy with who genuinely enjoys this game for the right reasons. You certainly know enough to make decent characters. However you don't know enough to deal with the fallout of making a character reviled by large amounts of people - your character was a [REDACTED] ally and obviously hated by his enemies. That isn't to say it was a bad character - it wasn't. But you got frustrated because you bit off more than you could chew. I have done this on several characters. I will tell you that the trick, really, seems to me to be not worrying so much about who will be coming after you as making sure you can at least be allied with *someone*. Hope that helps.
