Ealuriel was a wonderful example of a fully-realised character. Oddly enough, due to a small fluttery bard friend that Ealuriel and Tiadre shared in common, I got a good sense of Ealuriel's background and the internal conflicts that were constantly swirling under the seemingly arrogant surface. Ealuriel presented some of the most challenging and enjoyable roleplay dilemmas I have ever faced in any character, and I loved the tense, careful conversations and interactions.

IC, I was afraid of Ealuriel. OOC, I loved the character and was highly relieved I never had to experience the pain she was well-known for doling out.

Ealuriel is the sort of character that people live to hate while she's around, but miss terribly once she is gone. I know she's one of the most memorable characters I ever had the pleasure to meet.

Thanks go to the player, and good luck on your next! :)

I admired you from the beginning and followed your character's development into the best female deep-elf I have seen in seven years of playing. (Yes, I knew you way back then.) I voted you for paragon long before the staff awarded it to you. I look forward to meeting your next PoV

You know how much I loved this character. You know how entirely apathetic Hagrel was towards her. She was crazy scary, and wonderful fun to be around. Keep rockin'.

Ealuriel had this thing for torturing elves. One of whom was Masami, Tristala's closest thing to her true love. Tristala decided to get close to Ealuriel pretending to be her friend, and strike when she least expected it. After Masami died (auto deleted), Tristala grew to like Ealuriel, in a catious sort of way, and more recently had started considering her a friend.

This is really unexpected for me. This also sucks badly. Ealuriel was one of my favorite chars that I interacted with since my return to sk, be it from Ashtaron to Xantium to Maladash, you could always count on her to make things fun. She'll be missed, but I can't say I blame you at all for what you did. Hope you come back with another.

Good character and good player. I don't know much about Eryni. Literally never interacted with her once on any of my characters.

Staff does not award Paragon.

Anyway, our actual face-to-face interactions were not many (on purpose, because I cower in fear of your SK skill :P) but Ealuriel was always a looming threat to Caeserea that she took VERY seriously. Impressive to have that kind of an impact, Syn.

Make something fun.

ealuriel was a solid BAMF. it seemed to me that you had to fight hard to sit yourself down and RP, and at times you almost seemed uncomfortable doing it, but i enjoyed what came out.

as for the balancing issues of SK? a few months spent in the bowels of any other competitive game reveal how dated SK has become. for the serious-minded gamer, SK does not offer the thrill of consistently challenging combat. SK's metagame is practically non-existent, changing only slightly every few months, when a veteran comes along to showcase another overpowered combination, which subsequently gets nerfed excessively.

so yeah, if you're playing at this point, it's not about the pvp. it's about the relationships you've formed with other players, perhaps mixed with some ever-present nostalgia over old times.
