This is the exact reason I've asked to see the account limit on tribunals dropped to fifty obsidian coins instead of two hundred fifty obsidian coins. This makes emptying that fund a much more realistic a goal. I've even suggested making all account sizes smaller yet, twenty five obsidian coins for all players, religions, cabals, and tribunals. If people want to hoard large sums of money they should have to work harder at hoarding the actual coins. Enemies should want to take the money that is hoarded to use in their own war efforts. The smaller funds will make wars more heated because one realistic goal will be to drain the enemy's fund. Weaken the opponent's defenses and follow with an attack a la SK siege effort. Not many people were behind the idea, but perhaps the incentive of being able to shut down any kingdom's bounty NPCs with a tenth of the effort is exciting enough for some to entertain.

hmm i feel a bit discouraged but here's my thoughts

in a perfectly ideal SK environment where at least a defender is around 24/7 yes that would be an awesome system you just described (similarly so would be CRS in a sense, as well as so many religions and organisations in SK)

but no, people don't play 24/7, most play a couple of hours, and even though there are more than one tribunal members, they do not cover the entire day or week

that leaves enemies to come around and drain the account while the defenders are offline and YES this is how often it is being done recently

i do not think it's fun to play the offline warfare just as the original CRS had people ninjaing one another's relics offline (still do, but it's way more difficult)

there is currently no safeguards against this, and it would be awesome to get a few for tribunals

More like a fifth of the effort AMIRITE

but a decent idea nonetheless.

Is there any reason a victor in a war situation couldn't request the loser not employ these guards for a specified duration? If I won in a war against another tribunal, I'd make that one of the truce conditions.

If tribunals are to be expected to engage in battle, then they need battlefields. I have read posts from Top Brass suggesting starting cities are not intended to be these battlefields. Current resources promote tribunals to stay at home. This is called an impasse.

Having just found that Teron's starting area is by far my favorite and must have taken a good bit of building effort, I'm loathe to rehash my old idea of making Teron the Alterac Valley of SK.

It is sad, but honestly? My only solution has been to never touch the Talons again until I'm ready for the kind of steamroll l33t tictacs exxxtreme PVP that seems to be in Zhenshi instead of Uxmal. (Of course, my fingers have long been off that pulse -- it could have changed by now.)

Until then I've found a more invigorating approach.

Mmm, but what I was saying is that I personally wouldn't waste the mind-numbing time collecting 250 obsidian to put in a tribunal account just to see it drained while I was offline. I'm saying you could just let them drain the account if they do it while you're offline, then when you want to play for a while, put an obsidian or so in as a defense (or during a raid) so that I was protected during my play time.

If they tried to drain the account while you WERE online, then you could go engage them with the advantage of bounty NPCs.

Reducing the maximum bank accounts won't do anything to stop this, will it? Couldnt' we just drastically weaken them into "yelling kamakazi" NPCs that are easily killed but give up your location (either by tribunal chat or by yelling) so that real PCs would have to come after you?

The solution is clear.

Give bounty NPCs voodoo and final strike.
