No, I meant the phrase "what are your thoughts on yaoi?"

I skimmed through this thread, but I couldn't help laughing at this comment in the OP, which is part of the reason that Tiala quoted for deleting:
Quote:
Someone who can't take something IC, when they openly said it would be dealt with IC

Because it seems to me like that more aptly describes Saddirah than Sorvol.

Tiala, you seem to have a pretty hard time when things don't go your way, and it puts a very heavy OOC feel to things. I know it was pretty ridiculous how completely flippant your leader of the Peacekeepers was when the city was constantly being decimated and you were constantly being killed, and the OOC frustration of the player really shone through in that.

Things with this game are meant to be taken much more lightly, and while your character concepts don't have to be open for change, your OOC viewpoint of the game seems like it needs to take a step back and think about the bigger picture more often before flying off the handle.

From what I saw it looked like a priest trying to force another player to conform. Which never ever works. Not that doing so is out of line or not understandable. The violence bit is the turning point. It seems over-the-top and unreasonable for a Dulrik HF to kill a once-prospective seeker, disrespect or no. By all means run the Faith how you see fit but maybe invest a little time in googling leadership theory and group dynamics? Might get you farther next time if you adopt a less authoritarian approach.

Actually, the Dulrik church leaves very little room for interpretation: Those who speak lies or falsehood are committing evil, and calling the HF of Dulrik a tyrant for explaining how things should be is a big fat one. Screw that psychological mumbo-jumbo, the Dulrik faith doesn't care. RP can't be enjoyable for every involved side if there are too many OOC expectations brought to the table, and being "authoritarian" is exactly what a good Dulrik follower who's in the right should be.

No doubt play your play, however that takes. A wise person would recognize player courtesy is in short supply right now.

YOu have to realize that this is just a GAME. This isnt real life, though maybe your dillusions have led you to belive that it is. YOu gotta learn to take the good with the bad. You know hw many characters I've had that Ealuriel has hounded. But I keep making new ones even though Ive gotten mad more than once at the UNFAIRNESS of the game. It doesnt help. You gotta learn to deal with it. <shrug> Yu'll be alright. Maybe during your break you'll grow up a bit.

Aren't you the guy that flipped out when someone made an obviously fake log of your character being killed and then whined and cried about it for a week? Pot meet kettle if so.

Why is it every time you delete, you drag the QQ fest along with it?

Stop accusing us all of OOC treachery because you were incapable of handling the slightest problem IC.

I know, right? It's like you're looking into a mirror, isn't it? Eerie.

Actually, she could request it, they don't have to listen and if they continue on the OOC side, she can ignore them, that's what I do from time to time depending on what the OOC issue is.

However, she will be back, not all of us act that way, and the game is addictive. It was bad form to come and rant about it, but she did need to get off her chest so to speak, but everyone here has done something that they regret from time to time. Don't say you haven't, it may not be on these forum, but no one has ever lived life and not had regrets.

10 out of 10, would rage again, please make more terrible posts asap.

So I've noticed this is an Afterlife thread and only one person has mentioned the actual character. When will people realize the Dulrik religion isn't for roleplaying but easy access to the Hammer?
Seems to me like AL threads are either circle jerks or flame fests. Where is the middle ground, I ask?

My interactions with this character always had a solid and good feel to them. I am sadden to see the character end like this. Good luck on your next, you know there will be one.
