Maybe, but that's kind of an ic opinion that not every character HAS to share. There's no reason someone can't roll a character who puts his faction above his religion or the religion of others. It's something to be worked out icly. I see nothing wrong with the way either of you acted icly.

You shouldn't have made it an ooc issue, and he shouldn't have been a jackass to you once you did.

Insulting the person that made the allegations and mounting your high horse, also good.


Finish up assuring people that the allegations are a lie yet immediately turning around and saying if they were true, they would've handled it wrong anyway. Marvelous.

I think your character did the exact right thing, icly. It's exactly what my HF of Dulrik would have done.

The point I'm making is that there was no reason to jump ooc when Sorvol got involved. He, too, seems to have been acting within his ic rights. It would have made for VERY interesting rp, imo. It's a shame you passed up the opportunity.

Yeah, i suppose it is a shame I shut down the RP... but when things add up, and its one thing after another with the players not being even the remote bit logical... it wears on one.

I read this log and it was hilarious how he kicked you out of the temple of Dulrik.

We didn't lose a good player. It's evident by how you jumped ooc immediately to try to resolve the issue. Also, I seem to recall Dulrik changing the scrupulous helpfile because of a bunch of limp-wristed players whining about how I wrecked some lighties excrement back when I played Arsilan and yet here you go killing lighties. Whatever. Sorvol came in and handled it with style. He didn't even kill your character, he just came in to breathe life to the other character. He just happened to do the mud a favor in the end by getting your wrist cutting rear to delete and quit the game.

Personally, I'd have handled this by shoving Sorvol's excrement in, but whatever. Good luck trolling another mud giving your "woe is me" story.

I commend Sorvol's player for removing trash from the mud. Now if only he could repeat that with the entire Harlequin cabal and Marfik religion.

could have dealt with this differently, if there is out of character connections going on, imms can investigate, players can also help

quite a few other players have this predetermined rules set for the game for themselves, and when others break their rules, they go boom

there are going to be problems like these in real life too but yeah, in a game it's easy to just say "i quit" when it's not worth it

WOW Ninja, thanks for chiming in. Clearly RP means nothing, and wasting three hours of it on a noob trying to teach them about a faith and nothing seems to sink in.. really is poor RP on my part. Yep, that must be it.

As for another pk place.... not all of us play other places, and I for one don't. Maybe I am use to better RP, maybe I am too quick to judge others, but when I feel I have wasted three hours on someone that isn't willing to even take one thing from it.. like you are a Paladin, your Lord is first... wow, there really isn't much of a point putting more time into a place like that.

People will always do what they wish, I get that. Clearly this isn't the place for me to play.
