OOC alliances are flowing wildly. Someone who can't take something IC, when they openly said it would be dealt with IC, involves OOC friends in things.. forget it. Good luck everyone. I am done and I will NOT be back.

People who rely on OOC connections to try to deal with stuff IC.. poor form and quite childish.

Oh and for the record, a Pally should be declaring THEIR lord in their life, above mortals and others. If you can't do that, don't play a pally and don't expect to be welcomed into a faith. Bravo Sorvol for butting into a faith issue that you know nothing about....

I've seen this log of yours. Why exactly did you not ignore him? He can tell you to do all he likes, you DON'T have to listen to what his says. I gave you HF for a reason, not him. Had you actually dealt with it IC and brought other people in I can almost guarantee that most of the lighties would have backed you, and not him.

On a personal note, when I was a noobie the same thing happened to me (I was playing a Hellion, but still) it helped me understand the mud far better than 'being nice' and letting me in regardless of what I said would have done.

I was fine with denying her into the faith (hence logging it for Dulrik, as she is a Pally). But when others come in, and flaunt their *power* and *authority* and disregard when I openly said it was a Faith issue, because of OOC connections or whining... I am not willing to let it go.. because it will only spread further and further. And when the char insults the HF in the temple by calling her a tyrant when I have bent over backwards to give her literature and pointed to the commandments right THERE.. and she still goes other people *poor me*.... why bother? Its not the game, its the players.

When I spend a betterment of two hours lastnight and an hour today, and she still cannot say that Her God would have priority in her life, as a KNIGHT.. and then complains to others that I killed her because she insulted me, and my Lord .. and they can't back off and stay out of faith things because they are protecting an ooc *noob*.. cha whatever. Players.... not the game.

Still, it's one person that gave you a hard time I don't see how this represents the vast majority of the mud. People you know....do that? You'd have been perfectly in your rights in getting everyone else to turn on him (and most would have) for interfering in a religious matter. Point being, yes he interfered with what you were doing but had you actually done something to STOP him rather than just giving up your advantage (and character) right away...everything would have worked out.

I play the character the butted in and I am have no idea who plays the said character, nor am I in any way to be associated with him/her OOCly.
Instead of whining ooc, you could have played an admirable priest that would inspire other characters and guide them. If that was the case and you had still denied said character and killed him/her, then atleast you could have made hell come down IC'ly on my character.

As to the giant.. I told you as soon as you got there, it was a faith issue and that should have been enough for you to butt out... but clearly.. Not. Faith issue is that, Faith, and you are not a member of that faith.. no respect, no nothing. Players.

Alvarro, I read your log, and that was pretty douchebag-ish of you.

This honestly looks like a clear case of "ZOMG HE/SHE IN MY CABAL/TRIBUNAL I AUTOMATICALLYZ AGREE WITH THEM ON EVERYTHING AND THEY ARE NEVER WRONGZ!!!" which is one of the things I really hate about SK.
