So if you are a noob at spending time enchanting hours and hours or a griffon (very few EQ spots), then you deserve to be submitted to charm and the implications which have been thoroughly pointed out throughout this thread?

jeez

If you don't have resistances expect to be instantly killed by casters. If you do have resistance expect to be immune to every spell they cast. Thats how the game works and how it should work. There are more counters to spells than their are counters to melee.

What about the people who don't have a buddy to enchant for them? I know you don't have this problem cause you have your RL buddies who will gladly enchant for you. People like me though don't play with friends and try asking someone on the who list to enchant for you...they either ignore you or they have better things to do, and I don't blame them. Why isn't your merc in the hero tourny Rial?

That's not necessarily true. I actually enjoy enchanting, your just playing the wrong aura. =P

That's not true for either aura. Just have to know who to ask.

The new charm needs to be put on a timer. I've been charmed for lenghts of time that are completely inappropriate. Had my character been put to sleep for as long as I've been charmed the player would have been punished. Syns last character was punished for abusing sleep like that I believe.

If charm is going to render a character so useless as to being a complete automoton then there needs to be a timer. As I mentioned the length of time I've spent charmed in the past has been completely inappropriate.
