Ezeant for proving how [REDACTED] [REDACTED] people on a power trip are.

I did what was asked from me by the other leaders of the fist. You just constantly looked for reasons to pk people. Everything gilgon said was true. You had a lot of RP left in your character. You could've made him more fist like.

I hate having to use the tarnish command, and I only use it when someone does something stupid enough to truly earn it.

I wish you had kept this character and completed the RP.

Being a member of the order of the white swan has nothing to do with kicking [REDACTED] in fighting.

You went away with the intention of changing that, all you had to do was wait till I logged back on, or any leader for that matter, and had an rp to show that your character was changed, to lift the tarnishment.

Despite ample RP weeks and days prior to a tarnishment, I do not see much sense in tarnishing someone without interaction just prior or just following. (ie the command being hit with no direct interaction) At least even from a player courtesy standpoint. From then, it probably didn't help that for days later neither parties (Vahn/Fist leadership) seemed to catch up with each other, leading to the end result. Both parties contributed to this.

I think the tarnishment had its reasons. But its execution could have been handled better. Punishing someone else, even if the reasons are clear and justified, can cut into players. RP aside - it's a game, and there are real people at the end of other computer's out there.

Far as Vahn as a paladin and his RP: there were RP reasons for all of it. I wish people would stop ridiculing others because they don't play their class/alignment/whatever the way you would. There are guidelines but each person makes the character their own. I saw a lot of quality effort and RP from Vahn. I saw what he was punished for . . . a particular flaw of character. One that he was warned bout by leadership to work on or face consequences. Ultimately, that is what happened, and the leaders made the right choice. As Ezeant said - it could have/would have been worked through. It certainly wasn't intended to be a 'final' punishment.

As for patience, we all lose our heads from time to time. I think Vahn's career has ended really before the character matured/blossomed. The player made a choice to move on. Perhaps the character concept was just not a good one for Fist & he would have over time found a different path. It's no one person's 'fault' he decided to end the character and move on. There were other options open, but perhaps vision of this was marred by the manner he was punished.

OOC what's done is certainly done. Clean cup of tea, Alice.

Vahn was not a paladin. He barely even tried to be.

In the first couple meetings with my -aberrant- barb, we ended up going to the NORTH and fighting law NPCs WITH ANOTHER HELLION. This "paladin of Dulrik" was rolling around with a hellion and an aberrant barb, all the while healing them with Dulrik's prayers; the entire purpose of this trip? To kill Necrophidius. I know Dulrik's tenants inside and out, and that deserves blemishment, self j-loot, and seppuku.

Even from my first interaction with Vahn, I could tell that he was sub-par. Honestly man, you were out for PK and "having fun," and not out to play as your character should. I'm not sure if that's your fault, or the fault of the person who invested you into the faith/cabal and then didn't blemish you later/sooner. Honestly, I'm not surprised that you ended up deleting because you couldn't use your omg1337 fist skills to go get poisoned by Necrophidious again without having to RP.

I've got nothing against you as a person, but as a player you have got to take things more seriously if you plan to play a paladin or similar class.

Aww, I liked Vahn. Too bad.

Ezeant is doing just as well as any leader of the Fist as I've seen, although the Yaubl / Elriorith combination had some great RP in it (good ol' days).

oh, and Yalta is a [REDACTED], I agree. :) Good job, [REDACTED].
