Shattered Kingdoms

There are many things to say about Inzaarid, I'll just note down a few.

As Delear, I've spent a respectable amount of time and energy on him; Either by trying to bring him closer to the ways of a deep elf, or trying to affect him through other characters.

I've always considered him to be a bad example of a deep elf for caring too much about insignificant things (as my char conceive them of course). Anyhow he always reminded me of myself at my youth, acting as a half-breed most of the times and following some weird code of honor he produced for himself. I just wanted him to feel free of all that...

Since our first meeting, the log of which I've been looking recently, I remember Inzaarid caring about Teron and fighting with Zavier.
No matter how hard I've tried to bring those two in peaceful terms, the result was kinda ugly. They seemed to work fine together for a short period and then BAM! ....Round 1...FIGHT!

As far as Teron, it's obvious that it was his big love. All his actions had to do with that bedamned city. No matter how much I've tried to change his mind into NOT motivating any force by teronians, he always kept to his views and even when he seemingly changed his mind, it usually lasted for an IC year or so...

We had our conflicts but it was all fun for me and I hope fun for Inzaarid too. No matter how rough things seemed to be between the two deep-elves, Delear always looked out for Inzaarid...I doubt that the character or the player behind Inz, ever found out any of these actions but that doesn't really matter.

In any case...
My respect for a succesful and long lived character.

Yea, hrm....I don't recall that being Inzy, I did get to punch your moaning head while it was all undeady and stuff though >_<

Playing an elf all this time, I really did not have much of a chance to interact with Inzaarid, but this is what I picked up from him from the opposite camp:

Inzaarid never really gave me the impression of being a deep-elf. The only thing that reminded me he was one was his enmity for elves.

He was, however, a damn worthy opponent that always had time to speak with you even if you were his enemy, even if it was through tells.

I enjoyed all taunts we exchanged, though I probably enjoyed taunting aliquada and Benjamin more.

yes, its a bit controversial for a fist to taunt through tells but she has her reasons for it, really.

Anyway. I will likely always remember the name inzaarid, somewhere in the same shelf with Eliro and Ensley. Not as an evil drow, but as a character that always had something interesting about him.

PS: He sucked at PK though

An absolutely outstanding character. Even though my prime character was a lightie who despised deep-elves, he couldn't help but get drawn into the plots swirling around the character. And Inzaarid was always fun to interact with as well.

I spent a lot of time and persuasion getting him that pardon in Zhenshi and you prolly didn't think to mention it.. he was a king among men.

When Brolly and Edman had trouble with him.
