You are a god in this game, you can do all kinds of stuff we mere mortals cannot.

Totally not true. I played a newbie character that I purposefully kept at mid-range in levels and I pretty much never once really got dragged into PK. I played that character for a while, too!

Actually, I was speaking from experience from my first character. I was in no tribunal, no religion, no cabal, and was journeyman level, in a town. Now, I realise that being in town was provocative, as was being an elf. I didn't at the time because I was a newbie.

I doubt I'm alone in that experience either. So while it might not be true for you, don't dismiss it as "totally not true".

There's a difference between being attacked once or twice as a low level character by a higher level jerk, and being constantly PKed because you've put yourself out there. PK will happen every now and then regardless of what you do. But it won't happen constantly if you play your character a certain way.

PK is not inevitable. Raycosus.. that priest of Yed played a perfect neutral character, loved having the suit of Yed on him all the time and never risked losing it by pissing people off in PK. Good character.

Im sorry that it had to be my PK that made you delete and decide to go to another game but you didnt make any effort to really avoid it.. Jance has problems with Marfik followers (as you were aware of) and not to mention you did kill me and only did it because an ignorant swash told you to. Consider the reprocussions, you always had the choice, dont PK without the expectation that you will get the same.

After your death.. I stuck around to RP with your ghost but you didnt appear and you shouldn't complain about armor because I buried your corpse and the armor that fell off.

About the Death Quest.. the riddles were the same for years, the answers to all of them were common knowledge for everyone. Thankfully, we got some really insightful and challenging new ones to help bring back some flavor to the quest. It's a FREE resurrection that only asks for a bit of intellect and patience.

There is never a need for interaction in the game. YES, it makes it more difficult, but it's still entirely possible. How? Sorcerors.. sorcs can GM, get armor, learn their spells, and explore entirely on their own without ever having to talk to anyone. It just takes patience to learn on your own, instead of having your hand held through the entire thing. Some kingdoms allow for more indepedence (easy quests, accessible NPC trainers).. plan a character with this in mind. It only takes a little RP to change later on, should you decide to move.

Again, I wish your trip to the River didnt make you decide to delete because your concept and RP was really enjoyable. But what did you think was going to happen? Good luck with your future experiences.
-Jance.

No ghost RP because Frimka shuit off at that point. RP thing, and no there was no resistace. We went on a mission together and worked on the same side. I also used a petrification scroll on you when you had a sorc in your group. I went on mode stun for that fight. So the whole you needed to kill me thing really wasn't needed, but I am glad it made you feel better. I went and got some work done around the house and came back to no priest -I- could percieve being on, tried the death quest and failed, new riddles oh what fun! I seriously considered what was happening and what was going on, I will not be able to get away without getting Pked. You could have stunned me and stole my alcohol, THAT would have had a bigger impact on the char. The whole revolving door of death needs more fixing.

I HAVE been chased down and accosted for simply trying to stay under the radar. I have been killed and butchered just so they could find out my name (before fix). Only way to ultimately avoid ANY pk is to not play.

There's always a way to not be involved in PK you're just not willing to forth the effort.

Doesn't matter if you're on MODE STUN or not.. petrification kills you. And it also doesnt matter that there was a sorc in my group because there was also a priestess. I was coming back no matter how I went down.

Not my style. You had an obsidian on your person to buy more alcohol that cost a couple silver.. is that really an equal exchange for my life?

To Jance, Death is a blessing and all he did was do you a favor by allowing you to visit the River.. disorientation is Achernar's way of teaching you a lesson, to encourage you to learn from your mistakes and Change as a result. I asked if you would kill me again (Are you going to change your ways).. and you didn't say "No", meaning my life was in jeaopardy by you being alive, meaning I will force you to embrace Change by dying.

Again, best of luck with your future endeavors.

Yeah no [REDACTED], that is why I wasn't too worried, I would have brought you back if she were dead.

And if death is a blessing why the hell would you grant it to someone you are trying to punish?
[REDACTED] logic there

Debate really won't change things at this point.

Obviously you haven't played in a religions that revolves around the blessings of education before. He taught you a lesson (in his character's mind ) by killing you. Education is a blessing. Makes sense to me.

No need to really defend your RP, archaicsmurf, in his Afterlife. He's not going to change his mind about what happened.
