I'm not going to disclose how it happened, but no, it was not an accident.

This is very upsetting news. Whether you got along with him or not, OVT was a passionate player with quite a bit of imagination. I enjoyed playing with and against him over the years.

My sympathies to his friends and family.

Rest in peace, Revin.

I have no idea what you are on about there, ilkaisha, but you are starting to get on my nerves with your trying to bite at me at every chance because your character did not like my character. Grow up.


I really just hoped this case was a [REDACTED] joke.

I've been mean to OVT at times, at times I just ignored him. I never thought too highly of his RP, nor did he ever do anything to surprise me. We did however talk at length about SK related stuff over YIM.

I always got this impression from him that he took everything that happened in SK way too seriously, and that's when I usually stop talking to someone OOCly, too.

But to kill himself? That really makes me [REDACTED] wonder that maybe I should have looked into it more, if I missed some sort of hint for help, if I read his intentions wrong.

Fact is, its a [REDACTED] cruel world. And yeah, there are people who have it far worse than OVT, with no internet, no home, no money at all, and still somehow get by, but on the other hand, it is sometimes even harder to live in a society that expects too [REDACTED] much of you. Being raised in an environment where you are told you are destined for glory and then seeing it all just slowly grind away into monochromatic every-day life.

I could be way [REDACTED] off and his reasons for doing this may be completely different, but I still had to selfishly get this off my chest.
Even if I did not much like OVT, he was a part of this community and he will be missed.

I can't help but post here a second time. This is not in response to anyone else. My first post is basically me just workin through shock and is about me more then Revin and my feelings about how I dealt with him.

This one is for OVT.

You were a Dangerous foe, a fun friend, a real internet personality. I don't know what feelings or thoughts were being masked behind the bravado of your name, but we clashed many times. Both sharing a passion for SK. You were one of the people who fueled that passion and made me determined to play as good as I could and be as good or better then you. I had to keep trying.

I am truly and deep sorry that you, OVT, felt you had to put as stop to your life. I really am. I just hope you aren't plain old dead and that what you were is actually some where else because there should be an OVT out there somewhere in the nothiness, doing something as I sit here doing what I do. Its seems like there always has been that presence out somewhere beyond. And where ever that place is I hope you can read this post and flame me for being such a wimp.

So many hours I played with and against you. I enjoyed them all. Thanks for playing with me.

There was no way in hell we could've known... I really wish I would've though. ... Playing right now just doesn't feel the same...

I for one, and I know my brother(witherwood) and all of brady's other friends, appreciate the support of everyone who posts here and offers their condolences, Thank you for helping keep us strong and for keeping Brady in your thoughts, he'll be dearly missed by any who truly knew him.

True friends stand by eachother through the toughest of times, and none is tougher than losing one of your own, we shall prevail through these hard times, but the scars it leaves will be forever. I hope all of us will hold those scars dear to us, for brady.

An absolute tragedy, my condolences. I probably stand about the same way with OVT as Cannibal, well said dude.

Possibly, what paper would his obituary be in? I would like to read it.

It was just saturday or sunday man, that me and Hileji were fighting it out against Kemilla in Tlax...It went on and on until she got back up. I can't believe it's over. I mean it is OVER. Kemilla, the next one. The posts. The logs. There's nothing left but the fun memories.

Words fail when set against the gravity of a person and their life. There is nothing that I could write that would do any justice to him or that could soothe the aching of those who were closer to him than I was. My condolences all around, for whatever it's worth.

We often did not see eye to eye on the way the game should be played, and there were plenty of chances for either one of us to take the nice rivalry we often had to a nastier level. I've never wanted to play the game that way, though, and I think he came to know and respect that. Even when our characters were at odds, set against each other, we would play the game and have fun with each other. We weren't close enough to be friends, but we played SK in a way that gave us a kinship towards each other rather than using it as a wedge.

Despite the times where I am sure we annoyed each other, he will certainly be missed.
