I know I separated Vince and Kalen's afterlife threads: Not because I think that both were a huge impact on the mud, but because it just didn't feel right to lump them both into one thread.

I mostly made Vince as a test to examine the necromancer class and test out their balance relative to other classes, but I ended up liking him so much that I quit playing Kalen. Anyway, RL reasons have come up that are keeping me from playing SK much, so I've gone ahead and deleted my characters before they fade too much out of the public eye.

Vince was a tortured messed-up halfling whose parents had carved tattoos of angels slaying demons and drinking their blood all over him. He had a lot of problems, to say the least. When I started him out, he cowered in fear away from everyone that tried to interact with him while he tried to grow stronger with his spells. Over time, as he gained the ability to "make more friends," his timidity was replaced by arrogance and hatred. Vince never felt that he really had control over himself: In his mind, he was cursed from birth to be bound to necromancy, and the only thing that kept his mind clear was killing in increasing amounts. He was loads of fun to play (Necromancers can do so much crap) but I always felt bad for stopping Kalen for Vince.

Biggest thanks to Aiden - for being the one foe to treat Vince with decency. Over time, you would have easily cracked him if you kept at it.

Other thanks go to all the people who I fought with and against, and also to all those who Vince interacted with.

I don't have much to say about Kalen. Didn't interact with him much except with my scout Nymia, in which they didn't get along anyways.

However, I absolutely loved Vince. Very well played out. He was insane, yet lovable at the same time. That is when he wasnt' ripping your face off. Vince helped my character learn the teleport spell. Thanks for that by the way. When I searched all over the realms and couldn't find it. Eventually sneaking my character into sith. That was fun and I regret not RP'ing with you more after that. Sadly, I was focusing too much on training and stuff to really RP much with said character and I apologize for that.

In anyways, sad to see you go. Hope things get better for you man, and best of luck with your next, whenever you roll it.

Fun times. Every bit of PK was enjoyable. I still don't know how you managed to get that 'c sleep' off, but I deserved it for the naked and possibly afk kill on you in the crossroads inn. Kudos to sticking to 1v1- I know we both had allies we could have brought into the mess. It will be missed.

RPing with Vince was kind of like finding buried treasure- I'm nearly positive that Aiden was the only lightie willing to overlook his 'rough edges' for long enough to sip some tea, teach him to read and subtly pry at why Vince was so... Vince.

You will be missed, in the inns and battlefields. Come back soon.
