Shattered Kingdoms

I remember the old Adepts talking about Yaubl all the time in his hay day. It was fun to make fun of him. He was quite the thorn in our side. We'd curse his bald head.

I only had one interaction with him that I remember: Adrienne was at the Krychire portal stones, one of the only darkies log on at the time. Yaubl brought a group of nine GM lighties to raid Krychire. He saw me and issued me a challenge for a knightly duel. Needless to say, I was quite intimidated. I told him I wasn't a knight (nor aberrant for that matter), and even if I was I wouldn't accept a duel from him with eight of his lackies looking on and walked away safely (to my surprise).

Just an extra thought: The entire time during your funeral, Yaubl, I was just sitting there smiling IC, but OOC I was like "man... all that ARMOR!"

I got the mental image of me ganking your corpse during the funeral and then running off laughing. Would've been priceless.

You know, I actually sent a tell to elriorith about that.

Yaubl was awesome, the little I'd seen when I was playing Jandora (I thought it was obvious it was me ) was amazing. Kinda inspired me to go for more.

Being nostalgic lately.
