The problem:

There are three snares in a wilderness room that can hold eight. I attempt to 'snare 8', and, "There are already snares in the area."

I attempt to snare 5, which would not push it over the limit, and,
"There are already snares in the area."

Solution:

Allow snare 'stacking'.

If someone attempts to set more snares than the room could tolerate, make them automatically set as many as would reach the limit. For example:

If I go into a room with 3 snares, and I try to set 8, it would tell me something like, "You can only set five." and automatically have me set five.

Mmm..No. Snare really isn't broken and this would be heavily abusable as people would constantly keep updating their snared rooms with 8+ snares. As it stands now, you have to wait for all the snares to be used before you can resnare a place. Lets keep it that way.

The point is to enable someone to update their snared rooms. I don't see how that would be problematic or abusive.
