Nah, everyone is entitled to their opinion, that's fine with me.

Now when you disagree with me, and state that it was because I disagreed with your enchanting thread, that's when I think you're being vindictive. :P

I disagree with everything Sypher says because he's a big poopoo head.

Paper and time.

If your sorc's time is valuable, then it's valuable. You don't get to pick and chose which situations are -more- valuable. I like you burning through "just paper" trying to get your enemy. Kinda like junking a set of enchanted gear, isn't it?

It wasn't ever to do with the other thread.

If asking for enchants to be tweaked because it takes f'ing forever is "too much," then so is this.

I say, "No, Sir. Deal with it as it is."

It was a comparison. "QQ it takes too much time to get scrolls," is a [REDACTED] weaksauce argument when you defend enchantment.

Lol, calm down.

My main argument for enchanting was that reducing the amount of time it took to enchant would overpower the ability, since everyone could run around in highly enchanted gear. Offensive spellcasters would be near useless. If you could think of a way to reduce the time it takes to enchant while not making it any easier to enchant the item to hold amazing resistances, I might be more inclined to agree with such a change. As it is I can't really think of a way to go about that though.

The idea I'm suggesting for wands/scrolls isn't overpowering to them at all, or else I wouldn't have suggested it. It doesn't even make them any easier to scribe/recharge, it simply prevents uselessly wasting them. You still have to put in the time to scribe/recharge, or collect them.

You may not have meant to come across as angsty or vindictive, if you didn't my apologies, but you have a very brash and offensive way of posting that isn't really conducive to civil discussion.

Allow the mastery of the spell to reduce lag time/mana output.

No one asked you, though. Shoo, unless you've actually got something to add to the discussion instead of being a [REDACTED] yourself.
