Sorry, but bump. Does anybody even really use magic resistance anymore? I think magic resistance needs to be changed(I'm not sure how), even if someone actually wanted it, don't they have to remove all their eq to like cast fly on themselves? I think that'd get annoying after a while.

If I remember right, it was changed so that scripts on your eq and self-only spells ignored MR right? That still leaves out a bunch of beneficial spells one of the few classes that could actually use MR would need.

Most scripts don't ignore MR, only self cast spells.

MR needs to remain unless we want to see everyone running around with 4 mp 2 fort 2 will full suits. For example, I've spent hours today to enchant a certain bracelet(I just wanted to add 4 enchants to it other than what it started with). In the process, it faded/evaporated a few times, it got MR a lot more. So I junked it and took it again at repops. But in the end the result was worth it, who wouldn't like 6 will 3 mp 1 fort bracelets? :P

Well, I was sort of wondering if MR was usable by anybody (not trying to get it removed or anything) but it seems like it probably isn't. So, this then spawns the question of, uh, what purpose does Spell Ward serve?
