No, Dulrik completely missed the point. Dalamar said he would rather have had JUST vials of ironguard wimped while Ironguard itself was left alone. The wimp he is talking about, I assume, is that ironguard is based on level when cast, so it doesn't offer complete protection from iron until GM.

Does it actually ever offer complete protection? I didn't think it did.

In Syndal's defense, she is playing her character exactly the way Dulrik prescribes.

"Master characters are complete characters" afterall.

:p

Yep, I decided to stop leveling at Master1 and play my complete character. I mean, why spend 100 more hours getting the last ten levels, when my character is already complete?

Eathquake has due to the recent helpless code been made close to useless. Change to earthquake to make it potentially useful again. Targeted spell with range. Affects target room and all rooms joined to it. In target room it makes a trip attack against everyone. In all rooms it does damage against everyone not flying.

Warlocks get access to the only spell to stop people from flying but I think it would be nice if cone of cold got a buff. On a failed save there was a chance you would be forced to land if flying.

One must remember warlocks are no longer a solo class they are a group class. In group V group combat is where they true strength is shown.

Elementals probably need to be looked into. Perhaps something new to buff the elemental slightly that takes concentration. Perhaps something that gives spells a buff depending on the kind of elemental out.

Casters aren't really complete due to mana not being front loaded like hp are in the first ten levels, I think it was. Warriors stop getting hp, but casters still need to level to get those "free" mana points.

She was being sarcastic, and I was poking fun at the idea of Master characters being complete, when they still have several deficiencies that aren't resolved till GM.

I, too, was being sarcastic. If a character has to keep leveling to get the stat increases, how are they complete at master? Of course, scouts aren't complete until grandmaster, but this was about warlocks. ;)

A warlock's fire elemental isn't immune to as many weapons until GM because the fire elemental is the same level as the caster so a level 45 warlock will have a fire elemental with only immunities to level 35 and below weapons, while a GM warlock will have an elemental with immunity to level 40 and below weapons.

Warlocks are actually super-badass, but none of you can unlock the powah.

They do have substantial weaknesses though.
