Edit : Oh, and all this BS with the leveling is on top of warlocks sucking horribly in PK now apparently. I don't think I've seen or heard about a warlock killing anyone in a long, long time.

I know I'm not the greatest person at PK but my new lock is only really concerned with PK and it is about impossible, I was able to off one sorc and one necro so far, the two classes with the lowest HP pools.

With the change to magma cling no one will ever die from cling damage again...ever.

With items that grant RE even without it being brewed makes people basically immune to warlocks.

With warlocks you have to decide if your going to order all bash OR use magic. With order lag you really can't do both. I realize this is the same for sorcs/necro's as well, but sorcs/necro's can do a lot more dmg with their charms than a warlock can so its not really the same thing.

My solution?

Give fire elementals taunt, but a pre-taunt nerf version of taunt.

Maybe call it WHERE U GOIN NO WHERE, [CENSORED] NO WHERE!!

Okay, joking aside Warlocks really do need something.

Scripted items that grant resist elements should be reported as a bug. Any spell that is unique to a single class should not be commonly available. We made a pass a long while back at removing all of that but especially resist elements. I believe the only ones allowed might be the hero amulets. If they are creeping back into the game, that should be bug logged so it can be dealt with.

Does that mean spells such as stone skin, iron guard, etc should not be brewable? Or are there other classes that have those as well?

Dulrik, you might've intended for all of the elementals to be usable, but as soon as you can make fire elementals 90+% of the time that is what you use. I remember once upon a time people would ask for earth elementals(I forget why, maybe they did more melee damage?) and like I said, I suppose I could possibly see using a water one to trip someone, but noone ever does it because all of them except the fire one dies way too fast(Fire one dies too fast too in PK). Air, I could maybe see using the shocking damage attack against a giant, but I think it'd die way too fast to even be worth trying.

IMO, give elementals the hp pools from the CoN's three barb NPCs. ^_^

When hasted, with old haste, they would double their attacks and yes deal more damage.
