Garazul - Pole-Mace (Tanso)

Soooooo where's the problem in leveling again?

Right there is one, just like landsknechts pole-mace are rather limited, and you can never find them at the stores that are supposed to have the generic ones, why limit a stores number?

IDK my lock leveling has only been good when i was with another pc to tank for me. The dagger throw thing I'm not to keen on having really changed, it's the dirt kick that gets me as a second row caster who has a problem finding a pole-mace. I wonder if either action even drains a NPC PE pool at all, and if not it should. And if it does, could some of the lower level NPCs have their Pool looked at?

All in all, though, I wouldn't seriously look for any improvements to the warlock class any time in the near future. There have been enough very vocal, very popular complaints about this class over the last three months that if something was going to be changed, it would have been.

That's never a valid rationale. I have a big backlog of stuff to do.

I'd just like to point out that over the past month there have been 5 threads of players begging for Warlocks to get a buff.

Okay, off the topic of leveling, and onto elementals, who came up with the order of elementals? I'd also like to see all of the elementals serve some sort of purpose instead of everyone just using the Fire one all the time. The Water one reaches if I remember, and might be able to trip??? which might make you use it once in a blue moon.

There's no reason to use the fire one all the time. Despite the fact that you get them at different levels, the elementals are all exactly the same power. They only differ in things like reach and resistances.

Some items on my backlog have been there for 13 years now. Good thing I haven't put warlocks at the end of the list, eh? Then again, that's why there are still items on there from 13 years ago.

Has anyone tried Healing Rays to see if that would be viable for levelling against undead?

I think Earthquake does have a bash effect, it just doesn't seem to work very often.

Was just stopping by to check out the warlock thread, healing rays doesn't work like cure spells undead last I checked.

Healing rays does do damage to undead, but not a whole lot.

There is every reason to use the fire one all the time. Try using a water elemental in PK. Try using an earth elemental when tracking down some other group that's fleeing a fight. Watch what happens to an air elemental vs the same kind of things that a fire elemental could shrug off.

Fire elemental is the only valuable elemental to use, ever. Not to mention, it's also the only one immune to a majority of a warlock's AoE spells, when it's even possible to use them.

Trib warlocks could *arguably* use a water elemental, but it's not precisely practical.
