Not just castable final strike, a script to fire it off automatically in combat.
Or even better, the moment a PC walks into the room.

That wold solve problems indefinately.

Ahh yeah, I knew it was one of the two, I haven't looked at the log yet. That's still what I've been trying to say though, our NPCs do rather horrendous damage. I mean you're a sprite and weak to blunt damage, which is what fist fighting is, and even when she did manage to hit you, which wasn't often, the damage seemed negligible. They have to have their beefy HP to make up for the fact that they can't damage anything to save their life, nor can the shield block or parry any incomming attacks.

The guardians have alot of utility NPCs, but they only really have two (possibly three which I'm planning to test out in PK sometime soon) NPCs viable for PK. And the elemental compares the same as your three barb NPCs from the CoN, but has energy hide and isn't affected by level 35? and under NPCs/weapons. I'd much rather have the three to the one not affected by low level NPCs/weapons.

How is that any different from the CoN? We basically have 3 NPCs which are viable for PK. The rest like the sorcerors are just utility NPCs. As to which you'd prefer, it's really a matter of preference I suppose, so I'm not going to argue it. Being unaffected by weapons under level 35 is a huge bonus though. Not to mention, the air elementals attacks are not physical damage, and thus not negated naturally by armor, just MP. [/quote]

When the guard did hit, it did 12% for three hits in one round. Although I do admit if you weren't there casting spells I would have easily solo'd the guard and Derk.
But thats exactly the point, they make fairly reasonably tanks.
I agree with Konge, trib guards are there to take hits not deal damage. The PKing is still up to you, you just have an extremely usefull tank to help.

I agree as well, I'm just saying that plenty of other tribunals have guards that can take just as much of a beating -while- still dealing more damage. GoA may not, I'm not sure having never been a member, I know the peacekeepers do though, as well as the Talons.

Blademasta (and sypher), if you want to compare air elemental and ghazzhaz do it right. The fair thing is champion level armored/champion level sanced/champion level blessed air elemental vs lower level armored ghazzhaz. This is what they get in less that 10 seconds literally when you are suddenly under attack. The air elemental is 7 rooms away from these great buffs (it even loads with fly)or 0 if you have another guardian and an elite follows you next to the elemental (correction:an elite who will remove the buffs of the other NPC even pc). Try that blademasta and fight the elemental solo. Just be sure it is on mode stun.

Then it is the giant legionnaire. No energy hide, no insane pool but..armor slots AND weapon slots filled with adam flamberge or any other nice two handed weapon with reach. Same goes for Baltus and Balacha. So I'll say it again and I hope I won't post again for this topic. The problem is the numbers. Give two more balachas to the talons. Fix the problem that sometimes occurs with the elementals spawning, fix a similar bug the con has with the 3 NPCs and add more of the same quality (with whatever they already have) to any tribunals need it. That's it from me and a thanks to the imms that gave incentives to the players to appreciate the tribunal powers for the first time. No more 5 cabal members attacking a city with one defender, "winning" and thinking it is cool.

ps: I don't think any tribunal has a gm orderable NPC but maybe I am wrong or new ones have been added.

Peacekeepers has had one for a long time, but it takes exceptionally high charisma to use.

How about GM centaurs that come with full top AC diamond armor and great MP to begin with?

If you're talking about Peacekeeper NPCs, they're not orderable.

Back to the original post guards should not break group. I know as a merc I could never actually use retreat because my guard would always run away. O guard accept should turn off tracking code for that guard for as long as it remains in the group. If a PC then wants it to chase they can eject it.
