Id like to bring up leveling speed. Some people level quickly. Then there is the norm. Others tend to be very slow spending a lot of time RPing and spending time away from leveling zones. These last people are the people who need their leveling given a boost. I think there should be something to reduce how familiar you are with an area over time player (not offline as then people will just have more alts). This will not aid twinks at all unless they take part in RP time which is a boon for the game. As a general guide line for what Im talking about. For 10 min in a public area in a major city (not locked rooms etc) reducing the familiarity by approx one kill in an area. Each RP reward would reduce by size X two NPCs in an area. This reduction would never get you back to new to an area but would get you back into the positivity modifiers. Keep in mind this would work on all areas at once so a single NPC for any given level is actually around 4 or 5 across areas one might be leveling in.

As far as removing thieves after master. I would like to see enchantments not effect log out thieves. This would limit storage chars. Would also leave the scripted or amazing items till end game. How ever it would let people get much more involved with things at a lower level. As a side note it would make trips to the higher areas of the game more accessible to lower levels due to the fact people could have better enchanted gear. Brining non GM people back to the outlands in larger numbers is a good thing for encouraging outside of GM RP. Leveling should be a side effect of playing and interacting in the world.

One final thing there should be a XP reward per age to show learning doesnt need to be large but should be something half a tick per year, or a level per age increment.

Thats my 3 cents.

You can reduce familiarity already. Take someone who is unfamiliar to the area in your group.

I agree 100% with this statement, not exactly your idea of how to achieve it though.

Thats the thing. It is. I kid you not my current char has gained three levels from the "discovered xxx" xp, just by wandering around looking for spells. I've come across the new halfling village. Caves and towers and temples I've never seen, and gotten all kinds of XP for it. Granted its nothing equivalent to the xp I get grinding but its still huge, and considereing I still have probably at least half the map still to explore and gain XP for, I'm ok with it.

I add gaining these lvls to my lvling scheme, and it makes lvling alot easier:p

I agree largely with TheDrifter in his post: One of the most annoying things for me is to see characters using information they obtained OOCly.

That is all.
