I think that they are the most vocal people who express their wish for the Adepts. I'm guessing is the logic is if they drown out everything else we'll be forced to oblige the command. I'm afraid there are constraints which are just a fact of life. Lets all be patient and see what is indeed in the works. I swear if their whining stops the actual progression of what is to be, because they have to have what was....I'll actually be angry. Yes, we all really want the villains back in the game. No, I don't really think its the call of any player or IMM at the moment. Its a scheme which is larger than any one or two or even three persons. It is a team effort.
Is this the third or fourth time the Adepts have been disbanded and/or shut down? From personal experience, I know of at least two other occasions, which each lasted six months to a year. In both those instances, the roleplay required to reform the cabal was unnecessarily complicated and secretive.
It reflects poorly on the IMM staff that a cabal is allowed to be shut down for such a prolonged period of time because of the decisions and roleplay of a few individuals. A couple months is understandable while plot lines develop and new leadership is established, but an entire year is unreasonable and should be corrected ASAP.
Other cabals have been temporarily disbanded, such as the Hammer and Harlequins, but never as frequently or for such long stretches of time as the Adepts. This phenomenon is particular to the Adepts for whatever reason.
No, I don't have a character attempting to revive the Adepts. And, no, I don't have a character that wants to join the cabal. As a former leader of the Adepts, I just find it absurd the same mistakes are repeated by both the players and IMM staff in regards to this cabal.
