I never had annnnny problem with mercs at all.

Neither did Valthanos or Sypher really, but when one did come along that was in equal or better gear and I actually got a solo fight, with like Aedus, or Isaias, I usually got beat.

I mean really, I know how meticulous you are about enchants, just as much if not moreso than myself, and you always have great gear Cyra, can you really say that you actually fought many mercs who were as good of a player as you are AND had gear to match?

If you can, then great, my experiences certainly aren't the end all be all proof, and we've had several people agree with each position, some saying swashies rape mercs, others saying good mercs can put a beating to swashies, which means it does happen.

I'm just saying it shouldn't happen. Because of all the advantages a merc has in ranged and group combat, they shouldn't have much of a chance in melee combat with the games "melee specialists".

That's like having your cake and eating it too.

I beat Cyra in every duel with every character I dueled with my merc. To be fair, I don't think we ever got in any actual fights.

To be on topic, blitzkrieg is stupid. The whole idea is stupid, and it is nothing more than stupid.

It's a lot of dice rolls. A a general rule, the merc is parrying less but he can get hit far more often, the swash is parrying practically everything, but every time he gets hit (especially against giant mercs, for ex.) he feels it real, real bad.

Blitzkrieg is "good" in PvE. I think maybe it could use a lag reduction or something.

This is not true. The difference in protection from mithril and adamantite is very slight. Add in a couple MP enchants and you have a brick wall.

I didn't see you wearing mithril skins on your mercenary.

But I did wear them on my swashbuckler.

Man, are people really this dense in this day and age?

I wouldn't bother giving blitzkrieg to swashbucklers as it is just another melee attack. It's practically useless in the way it works.

Giving eyepatch to swashbucklers would, however, be awesome.

I can't comment on how swashbucklers compare to mercs but I do agree with Sypher that swashies should be the undisputed kings of melee, for all the reasons he mentioned.

Also, blitzkrieg sucks. Shorten the lag and give it to swashies.

It makes me laugh every time I see a barb eat a swash. God, that [REDACTED] is funny.
