If the equipment was going into a box somewhere, then the money confiscated should ALSO go into a box somwhere. Supposedly this would be the same box, but there's no reason to make money go straight into the system, if the armor and equipment's doing something different.

When the cops arrest you and sieze your assets, do you think they auction off the millions of dollars in drug money you have at the same time as the yacht? No. The yacht and lewt goes up for auction, and the cash goes straight into the system. There's a lot of reason for the cash to go straight into the system, and not to some box somewhere, while the items go to some guarded "evidence locker."

Presumably, the banks in each nation cooperate with the law there in order to be allowed to continue their business practices. Thus, the confiscated wealth is just transfered into the tribunal system.

I suppose that's kosher, though I still don't like it. We need swiss banks in sk.

No tribunals are supposed to have a HQ anyway.

Meh, I rather like that it gets junked. Storing it somewhere keeps it out of the game, even if people supposedly can get to it. Also, as a trib. member, I don't want to give these people an excuse to come back and break more laws. Well, when I feel like trying to kill someone I do, but that's only because my character is evil. I could see them getting the value of the loot into their account, because if I had the choice, I'd just sell it off and let the outlaws deal with trying to get it back from whatever hands it passes through.

So why do the Taslamarans have one, the CoN have one, The Talons have two, and the MC is a cabal as well and has one...
Answer me that one?

A vet-level NPC and a locked door does not a HQ make. Do you see any trib guardians? No, I didn't think so.

They are definitely not allowed to have anything remotely safe. They might have some room that is described as a meeting place. If they have more than that, it's not approved and should be bug logged until the KD fixes it.
