My lowbie didn't have 9 obsidian out in the open where you could see it.

You jacked a [REDACTED] quiver off a novice not having ANY idea what was in it.

THEN, when I sent you tells about it, you ignored me.

wtg!!!!

Yes this is all true. But let me ask one question. How the hell am I supposed to mug someone who can kick my [REDACTED]? Oh wait, muggers go after the weakest victims they can. And it just happened to be you at that time. It's perfectly ic and perfectly reasonable to assume you're not safe in a city of chaos and thieves.

Well stop talking about it OOC and handle it IC it should be a good RP and not something to get oocly mad about because you lost your money and now its inconvenient for you to go get more. Honestly this isn't something to put on the forums. And off subject. Are you seriously playing another gnome priest?

Did you read my post?

I got my money back and I really wasn't QQing about you taking it from ME. A real newbie wouldn't have been able to, and I think you should [REDACTED] think about what you're doing before you just take [REDACTED] from a lowbie.

And if you RP'd with that character AT ALL maybe you would know why exactly I AM playing another gnome priest.

First off you got your money back because Aneira asked Jinjan nicely for it back. A newbie can [REDACTED] and moan to any char to get them to do something. In fact, that's what they usually do. But I actually never called you newbie to begin with that was someone entirely different. And my question about the gnome priest was a question meant to be more like this. "What? Didn't you just play a gnome priest? Can't you play another class/race?" That's more like it.

I happen to rather enjoy priests. Oh my god! Playing something I enjoy! OH NOES!

I have played other class/race combos. Many times.

But you're missing the whole point of my post. Which is completely typical. NO ONE called me a newbie. I asked you to pull your head from your [REDACTED] and remember that some people might be.

Carry on.

You're right, I am missing the point of your posts. Which is this. "Wahhhh!!!! Wahhhh!!! QQ QQ QQ QQ I'm so mad I lost all my stuff. Wahhh!!! Wahhh!!! I need to post about it to get other people to help me. Wahh!! Wahhh!! I need my diaper changed!! Wahh Wahh!! I need a bottle." QQ Suck it up, I get plooted on a regular basis and you don't see me crying about it like a little baby.

I didn't lose anything. Why would I be mad?

You're obviously [REDACTED].

Jeez people, can't we leave the lowbies alone? Unless the lowbie is like being an [REDACTED].

People seriously need to consider this sort of stuff as my first character when I was new to the mud got this treatement A LOT. A deep elf hellion, I was literally PK'd into deletion around mentor status. All up from apprentice > mentor I was killed by gank squads left n right, constantly being jlooted after being killed in 1-3 rounds. Apparently, people thought I was a veteran player because someone showed me where to get things and gave me the money for it.

That however, is not the point here. Even IF the person is a veteran level, even IF their lowbie is fully decked out in glistening armor etc, that does not always necessarily mean that they are infact an experienced player. Ever thought maybe they met someone who gave them a helping hand? You'd be amazed at how far some people go to help newbies, some even fully decking them out, getting them a container AS WELL as giving them coin. Ilky's character could have very well been a true newbie, but you never really know until you sit down and RP with them. If a lowbie is being an [REDACTED], yeah, mode stun em as many times as it takes. However, just stunning a lowbie under say..I dunno journeyman or veteran level is pretty pathetic. Again, with gear and people nowadays, you can't determine a newbie simply by what they wear. If you plan to mug em, atleast RP with them before you do. Geez, what are people coming to nowadays? Summon ganks and now lowbie attacks. [shakes head disappointedly.]

Grow up guys, you're all adults. Just because someone is "OMG EVOL" or "OMG LIGHTIEZ!" does not mean you have to kill them on sight. You know, it IS possible to RP before hand. As it's been said many times before, there are other people on the other side of the screen. How would you like it if you were jlooted / robbed every 15 minutes? For some people, that happens..And one is one too many in my opinion. /rant over

I have to agree with Kin on one thing: good armor does not mean veteran player. I have purposely made my current character to help out lowbies/newbies. I was sick of all darkies being unwilling to help inexperienced players because of RP restrictions (whether imagined or real). So every person that I mentor, I show them where to get good equipment, coin, weapons, vials, scrolls, staves, pets and how to level.

It is a little disgruntling for me to think that by doing this I have condemned a few to being killed for their equipment/coin. :-?

However I don't believe that being a lowbie should protect you from ALL adversity and challenges. (That would be pretty damn boring anyway).

Either way, I think everyone should remember that there is another person on the end of that character. I think it's important to be considerate to others as much as possible and to RP for the enjoyment of RP and not just to give you an excuse to attack Character X.
