I had a question from this since Odeimnis, why is it that if you commit a crime and you are in disguise that it has no advantage, shouldn't you not be reported because the reportee would infact give a wrong description?

Mainly because disguise should break on combat, and there is only one known spell that will let you get away with murder. Otherwise you'll have rogue assassination squads to wipe out people in cities without any kind of retribution coming their way much like the roof top campers in WoW.

well wouldn't it atleast be logical if you could put on a disguise and walk into a city where you are outlawed and not be noticed, that would make some sense and not be to powerful.

I agree that disguise needs some help. I agree with Chem, that it shouldn't stop you from being reported, but it should allow you to go into areas where you are wanted.

It should prevent players from reporting you after a botched steal, too.

If you botch a steal then you deserve to be reported.

Not if they don't recognize you.

I'm pretty sure that was my point, and should be a perk of having disguise as a rogue.

If you look directly at someone that is disguised you still see the same description that you would if they weren't disguised. Disguise just covers up their most obvious feature, it doesn't change their entire appearance.

That's only because people are lazy and don't write up descs for their alternate disguises.

How about making disguise keep the authorities w/o true sight from recognizing you, and making you immune to reporting petty crimes?
