Then make some suggestions instead of just criticizing everyone else's. Try to be productive about this.

For the mystical aspect. I always saw ninja's being able to step into the ethereal.

Let's not forget the ultimate Ninja trick seen in the movies, Running on water!! That would be cool..A ninja just sprints off and runs over a river or ocean to get away. Well..maybe not ocean, but like a small lake or pond..

Stability - Increased chance to avoid trips and bashes

water walking - wasnt that one of the legends of the ninja?

i like the alchemy pary perhaps add from it

fire bomb - maybe a room effect or single person fire skill when a fire bomb is made

smoke bomb - could make the room hazy for a tick, allow for escape, or even could cause the group you throw it into to lose sight and lower some skills(from coughing) till next tick

A lot of others would mimic cabal skills and thats generally something thats not good. Also improved versions of other class skills I think is a bad idea(camou inside and out, wild fighting with parrying and disarming ability)

try to add something new

Pressure points - allow the ninja to strike different points such as arm, leg, body for different affects for a tick or two, maybe decreased movement abilities and lowered chance of skills with leg like kick, bash, trip, dodge, with arm lowered aim, attack, shield block, parry, maybe chest would hmm I dunno something, head could disorient them in some way for less time than the other areas

improved disguise maybe since it is not a certain classes main skills. Could maybe disguise race and adjective.

To regurgitate what's been said - There IS precedence for ninja - both in the shop, and other miscellaneous garb spread out in sk. Just like there is precedent for samurai.

The Fire wheel thing is great - but I don't think we want to encroach on warlock territory. If a ninja wants to use elements, he should have to rely on a scroll.

...Unless you gave the ninja the ability to specialize in the usage of a particular element, instead of having access to all of them.

EDIT: Also, due to the mysticality of the class, the ninja should be penalized for joining a religion.

I'm not sure the name 'ninja' particularly fits in SK, but the concept absolutely does. If we can find a more suitable name, I think it'll fit just fine.

Ninjas in religions. That's a tough one. Part of it might just be the stigma surrounding the concept of ninjas (and thus, naming them something else would make them fit better in religions), but I don't like the thought of ninjas following a deity.

I dunno. Stripping them because they're joining a religion implies that some force outside the pantheon is granting them their powers (like shamans and the ancestors), and this force is upset or displeased by the ninja's choice to follow a deity. It COULD be said that their inner chi or somesuch is disturbed by the ninja's choice to focus their will on a deity - but it's a little bit of a stretch.

I don't think they should get a big opening attack, there are already too many of those and it would draw away from rogues too much.

And since everyone is just throwing out ideas how about the ninja gets a specialized brew that allows them to make their smoke and firebombs or whatever and then give them a throw bomb skill so only they can use them. Maybe even let them throw regular potions at people. That way the bombs wouldn't be too overpowered since they'd have to make them and be weighed down by them.

Give them a passive skill, called palm item or something, that lets them take items such as bombs and shuriken from their containers without anyone in the room seeing it and without breaking hide.

I think we should all add lancers, samurai, oracle, time mage, mime, calculator, <insert other FFT classes here>.

I agree with creating maybe a new class, but ninja? I don't see this being the correct name in SK, maybe a suggested name as "monk" ninja just doesn't sound right, sounds like we are going for an Anime type feel, but hey if thats your bag, ninja then may be a good class.
