Does higher charisma help you keep items above your level? I know that throwing on lots of CHA mods helps you request slightly better items, does it also enable you to keep said items that you just requested?

As I've recently learned, there are level AND charisma requirements associated with request. Even having buff CHA will not let you request an item above your level, so anything you request will automatically be safe from log in thieves anyways.

I believe charisma just affects the request lag time.

Nope, it's lvl and charisma. And you cannot ever request something higher than your lvl

I know for a fact from very recent incidents that this is not true. There are minimum charisma requirements for items as well as level requirements, but you cannot request items lower than your level even if you meet and exceed the CHA requirements.

Cha mods help request. No they do not help you keep said item. Level thieves run off only level.
