Don't get upset because you're going to obviously get hit with the nerf bat.

You made the race/class/spec combo purposefully to be 'uber'. Don't act shocked when it gets pointed out.

Only an idiot can also manage to make hundreds of posts (of a single sentence most times, even) and not seem to butcher the English language worse than an amateur surgeon with epilepsy.

Look, the fact is, revin, you are a power-player. You will spec in whatever you believe is overpowered. The truth is, if the subtypes were balanced perfectly, there would be very few 'absolute choices' and more 'balanced' or 'focused' choices.

You obviously picked sargas, giant, mc, crossbow spec before you even entered in the character's name for the first time at the login screen. Why? Because you -knew- it was very powerful.

Now, I'm not even talking about damage here on the siege crossbow, I'm talking about range. It should not have 3 room/league range. It just shouldn't.

Though, if you want, I can make a centaur mercenary of Zavijah in the Hammer and show you why its overpowered. You will cry pretty hard when hit with cabal skill + spec + haste + gstr + enlarge pill + those stone skin cutting bolts.

So, perhaps it's not just -you- this is focused to, hmm? Yeah, it's actually possible I am pointing out an obvious game balance issue for all sides.

Siege crossbow is only two rooms range though... And one outdoors.

Not to mention gray aura...

And Revin, I've tried all the defensive countermeasures which still leave me somewhat capable of doing -anything- in a combat.

As regarding group combat and staves. I mean, I might be giving you good ideas now instead of just idiotically tag along with a group. But how about *gasp* standing in another room and bombard the others?

Yes, hell, my priest definately doesn't have that problem. I can't even pick up a corpse naked...

Warlocks have stone skin that can negate the blows for enough rounds to deal massive magma damage or return fire with their own longer ranged spells.

Sorry, I've gone in with sanc/prot/SS/mirrors/armor and full addy to still get blenderraped by that insane spec.

My point exactly, the very best two-handed weapon. When it has such a reach as compared to the others, it needs to be worse in other aspects. What is the point of a battle spear when you can wield a crossbow and reach the third row from three rooms away?

Actually I picked grey aura so I could get the adamantite crossbow that comes with damage enchantments.

Of course I'm wanted a power play char. My last one was strictly RP and I had no enemies to kill it got rather stagnant. So I picked a strong PK char. But enough defending myself...I thought you were attacking crossbows, not me personally.

Konge, if your priest came out me solo I could just as easily put him down without a crossbow. Unless of course you run away.

JeanvalJean is right.

X-bow and siege x-bow only do two rooms in city.

If that is your main complaint, that crossbows shouldn't shoot as far as bows, well then you already had it.

The more you keep on the subject, the less you show you know. You can't present a good arguement if you don't know all the facts.

It's seriously you guys crying because you got owned by something powerfull. That would be like me crying that necromancers need a really big wimp because one of them can kill me easily. Or that voodoo needs a wimp. Or that magma needs a wimp.

Of course they are powerfull. Thats the entire POINT.

In my first post I said two-three rooms, then I saw others name it three and went on it from there - if that's your main concern with what I present, go shoot yourself in the knee.

Touché, now I'll cry myself to sleep tonight :(

I do invite you to try, though.

The entire POINT is how powerful it is in comparison to other things of the same type - in this case, weapons. When a weapon does the same, if not more, damage than most others (speed/damage/accuracy included) and at the same time have six times the range, one would begin to question balance...

So much better.

I'm sorry, next time I make a merc it will be a gnome specialized in cane and riding crop.

I'm sure that will be fun to play...a whole lot of fun. :x

I do not want to make your spec weak, powerful is fine - overpowered is not.

I think it is alright the way it is.

Just add that I picked the one crossbow that comes with damage enchants, enchanted it further, have a symbol to add more, am a giant, and go into PK with haste and frenzy are what make it brutal.

A regular crossbow by it's self wouldn't do the damage you've encountered, I just know how to prepare take advantage of all the different sides.

Like people will whine about charge as soon as Mitch gets his char up.
