Pleeeeeease don't. I mean, set up a quest, sure, but if you actually delete all non-pc symbols, less active faiths like Sadr -WILL- be screwed.

Sadr is the one I haven't touched because I know my place in SK. All the others are pretty much gone. If you find they are loading somewhere, its kind to let me know by the bug command in-game.

Wow, tell me what you really think. Is this D's law or your personnal opinion? No one ever said they were candy and what I proposed would not treat it as such. I stated simple rules that would ensure only faiths who are in need of a HP so that they can recieve a symbol. Add an extra script that it will only create one per person per one irl week. I mean, are you worried about this being abused? Am I supposed to pray every time I get pk'd or die for a new symbol? Because that is what it will take.

If you feel it should be like that put that in the helpfile, I had no clue I could pray for a symbol. I think it would be easier for those WHO DO NOT have a priest to rp with. And trust me, I would LOVE to have a priest to rp with...alot. But I do not.

Also, I am not advocating that the NPC wears one, only creates one, for a person flagged of the same faith, and perhaps limited by a time frame if need be.
As for OVT, I don't know where you come off as saying quit bitching when no one was. It was a logical solution to a real problem.

Obviously D thinks along the same lines. considering He did get rid of the ability to get symbols without priests.

Which I understood, because back in the day when I played all you would have to do is kill a NPC to get a symbol. That was something I didn't agree with. I just see this as a solution to faiths who are thin. A fix through their dry spells.

To my knowledge, Dulrik has always believed roughly what Achernar stated, but it has not been strictly enforced until recently.


The story behind this is hilarious, and I doubt it will happen again.

Achernar is backing up the rule I laid down. And actually, no faith should be exempt to that. Achernar has my permission to go after Sadr's too.

Ok, I can respect that. Hope I didn't come off too blunt but it has been frustrating being in a priestless faith and not having a symbol once since I've been invested.

I have also prayed two sepereate times (at least 8 hours apart and once knowing an IMM was on) and still did not receive a symbol. The pray was ICly and rp'd accordenly. What is your solution to this D? Keep praying?

I am roughly in the same boat, being about three weeks now. But we have a priest. Apparantly I am not on when this priest is around. Just keep hope alive!
