I wonder if all the throwing weapon materials are specifically geared to ignore ironguard?

I noticed nerina's happy cheator ninja griffons were all chunking stone axes.

I noticed that things that have iron weapons *get this* take them off when you try to ironguard past them.

Way to make another warlock spell useless.

I also appreciate the fact that weapons now crumble, especially since most low level areas where NPCs have weapons--they have weapons that are made out of iron, so it's of course even more elite to level races that are weak against iron in those places. It's even more awesome when I try to get a free weapon, only to find that it crumbles right in my face.

Oh god, this update is so awesome it hurts.

The weapons crumbling has already been declared a bug. (That is, weapons that the NPC normally wields, not the throwing weapons.)

Agreed. Wonderful work Dulrik. You addressed every single one of the concerns I had about this last update with the "patch". I'm loving it. You get a big round of applauds from me! Great job.

All I have to say about this is that it MAY be abused. I might make a character just to play around with it (highly unlikely though). Imagine being a merc/barb and having your own personalized healer while you level places? That'd be leetsauce.

Pet + Guard anywhere = hawt.

Now this is an update I can get behind.

As for the tribunal NPC abuse I could see the tribunals setting the rules for things like that themselves. I'd think some tribunals wouldn't want to exploit their soldiers like that while others would use them to every possible advantage, I don't see a problem with that.
