The idea isn't bad (to bad he doesn't the vehicle code is still being worked on). I just think that everyone ragging on him for picking a juvenile name.

The mount thing is a cool idea. However it is pretty unfriendly to the entire structure of the current mount and formation systems.

It would take working around, yes.

However, even with horses IRL people can ride double saddle.

Picture a size huge creature mounted by seventeen sprites...

It could happen, if D was willing to code it.

I think it's a fantastic idea. Obviously plenty to work on, but it could be worth it.

And meztiso, look at this. Even a self-admitted newbie can see what an effin' n00b you are. Yes, I like this one, he's got potential.

I am glad most people liked my idea (Except Meztiso). I have more ideas such as horse equipment like shoes and saddle bags to help hold items you yourself cannot. Also it would be cool if you could get your pet back after you die instead of losing your animal. Also this may not be that good of an idea but here it goes, what if you could actually give a pet to someone else that you bought or tamed ifyou were a scout. This would help characters get stronger but may increase the PK output in the game.

I don't like the saddlebags idea, just because I don't want people being able to hoard more stuff than they already do, and scouts giving anyone a tamed pet would be too unbalancing.

True I guess your right but many a times I have had to quit a current quest because I was over encoumbered (Wieghed to much). Also I think armor would be good for certain horses not just to help people and them stay alive but would really make the game more exotic and unique. I meen who wouldn't want to be freinds with somone wo rides a horse into the room that has diamond trimmed with gold plated armor. May be expensivebut not really worth it but I hate spending two platinum everytime i leave a city on a new horse but also consider the idea to be able to get your old pet back.

Me like. Pet armor = good-ish. Pet containers = bad-ish. Although I'd always wondered why Uxmaln PACK MULES couldn't carry anything...

The idea of a pet mounted by two is indeed appealing, though matters would arise concerning positioning within a group. what would your position be if you both mounted an elephant? Would the elephant then occupy both 12 AND 21 positions? If so would one hide behind one and be safe, even from the reach of pole-arms?

Seems to me that the elephant would occupy 11 and 21 (when mounted), not be set diagonally across the group formation. Also, group positions is obvious enough. The one mounted on the front would be in the front rank, the one mounted on the back would be behind them. Why this should put them out of reach of reaching weapons, I'm not sure. There's absolutely no reason to make them safe from anything extra except exhaustion.
